I am at Reagan Airport in Washington DC. Ordered a big bowl of chili and a grilled cheese sandwich. Took two bites of the chili and couldn’t eat anymore. It was so salty and when I told the gentleman behind the counter he just smiled. My 9 year grandson can make a better grilled cheese sandwich. Good lord people how did you survive since 1958??

Great lunch! Very minimal parking but that’s to be expected. There are no prices on the menu. A little surprised to pay close to $150 for burgers, hotdogs and fries. Although everything was delicious! The half smokes are incredible and the chili was really great. Everything was really fresh. We would come again! I love that you can order some of their food items online to be delivered and I’ll definitely be ordering some half smokes to be shipped to us. The staff were very kind and accommodating. We had a hard time finding a clean table but overall it was a great experience.

The location was rlly chill as it was a Friday. I ordered the original half smoke with everything on. It was amazing, nvr thought I’d like it so much to come bk. They also have other items on their menu I’d want to come bk and try. Definitely a DC staple

I had a halfsmoke for the first time, and let me tell you, it was delicious. I had the halfsmoke combo. They were very generous with the fries. Atmosphere was great and restaurant was clean.

Great spot, great service, great food. I’m from Philly the place is really cool. Felt like I was in a neighborhood spot. Also had some great photos of Dick Gregory and other legends! Loved it
I understand that it is an iconic place, but I don't see anything special about it, the hot dog is better even in a convenience store

Recommended by an Uber driver in San Diego so we had to try it when we were in DC. I had the Half Smoke with chili and onions. Very tasty. The French fries were delicious, hot and crispy. Pepsi products which I prefer.
Dietary restrictions: Everything except for the buns is gluten free which is important to my wife.
