The food was great, the vibe was lit. And the server was amazing. The food came out fast, and Liza was so nice! Definitely come by.

Waited an Hour to get served and then when the server finally came they had an attitude. Been coming for two years straight on my birthday and they completely ruined it this year. Save your money and go somewhere else!

I ate there today and ordered chicken and waffles. My waffle was burnt and the chicken was mid. I wouldn’t recommend eating here. I noticed that many of the plates that were being cleared from the table had a lot of food uneaten, which is definitely a sign.

I always love it here. It’s not usually my first stop unless it’s happy hour. But I will always end up here for some wings and Ben’s for a chili dog.
The food is good here. The service is kind of lacking… young servers that may not have the best customer service. But the music is good, it’s dimly lit and they have strong drinks.
My favorite part is that they allow me to mix the wing flavors. They’re usually fried perfectly.

I really wanted to enjoy my visit to Ben’s Next Door, but the experience was disappointing. There was only one server and one bartender working the entire restaurant, and it showed. The bartender seemed more focused on the bar area, while many tables were left waiting just to be approached. I actually watched one guest receive his third drink before others even got their first.
Our server, though clearly overwhelmed, handled it all with professionalism and grace. She was polite, patient, and did her best under tough circumstances. At one point, she mentioned (as a joke, apparently) that food would take two hours, which ended up being partly true. Our meals took about an hour to arrive, and our appetizers never came, so we had to cancel them. One person in our group never got her drink and canceled that too.
The food that did arrive was decent, but the slow service and lack of organization really overshadowed it. Hopefully management takes steps to better staff and support their team, the server truly did the best she could.

My experience here was terrible. I’m convinced they only care about their customers during Brunch. I went on a Friday afternoon and the service wasn’t good. We came as a part of two, sat down, and waited for a server.. after 15+ minutes the server told us to scan the barcode and she would be back to take our order. She then went to take the order of the table of five behind us that came in after us. We ordered boneless wings, catfish fingers, and deviled eggs. We did not realize that the happy hour menu was going on but the server never asked how many wings we wanted (that may be our fault so that’s just a slight problem). The server forgot about our deviled eggs and after 20 minutes she came over and set them on the table and stated she forgot to grab them With the other food. You could tell they had been sitting there the entire time. We were never asked about beverages, no one ever checked in with us during the entire time we were there. I’m not sure what was going on with our server but I also noticed that she was not wearing all black like everyone else so I am not sure if she was new or not. The bartender notice that there was a struggle with her but seemed to be very rude toward her. This was not just a staffing issue because there were several times when I noticed the staff standing and talking amongst themselves but not helping the customers. I do not believe the tables around me were asked for a beverages either. The table of five sitting behind me also received similar service. They also seem to be confusion amongst my table and some of the tables around me. We were asked to put a card on file when we first got there but when it came time to pay everyone was confused. The server was not attentive enough to notice that people had been done their food and to come give the check. Obviously, we did not want the deviled eggs but the four boneless wings in the catfish fingers that I had were good.

Had dinner reservations for 5pm, soon as we walked n, BLASTING hip-hop. Not our scene. Went to The Saloon next to it, far laid back!
Super chill bar, extensive cocktail menu as well as drink options. Didn’t eat here, just came for drinks on their patio before catching my plane. Nice atmosphere. 🩷

Absolutely horrible service. We came in & sat for over 20 minutes. Literally no one ever came to take our order. We asked someone to send a server over, still no one came. We finally got up & walked out. 0 stars if I could!
