Don't let the restaurant's photos fool you. My Margherita pizza arrived without any basil and cool. Not even a little warm! I think they thawed it from frozen. What a waste! Going in the trash.

Went for lunch on 3/5/2020. Sat in the upper level bar area. The place was empty when I arrived, but a few minutes later got slammed with a busload of teenagers who walked the steps to the lower level. The bartender/server took 12 minutes to bring my iced tea. It took over 40 minutes to get my food. A almost left, since I had to get back to work. However, management seemed to realize that the kitchen could not handle the busload of people, since everybody in the bar area was complaining. Thus, my meal and I think most people's in the bar area was comped (aka free). The comp made up for the long meal wait and redeemed the restaurant. My pizza was smaller than usual and the rolls did not come with the olive oil condiment, and my iced tea was not refilled, so I knocked off a star.

The staff were incredibly nice to our group and could not do enough for us. Gluten free and vegan abailable!

I had an event at George Washington University, but had an 1 hour or so to spare, so I stopped off at Bertucci's for a quick bite to eat. I intended to eat in their downstairs section, which had less of a bar feel. However, they were quite crowded, and had a wait, so I ate upstairs.I only had around an hour to eat, so I went ahead and ordered a chicken Parmesan sandwich, which came with a garden salad.I started off with the garden salad, which was fresh and touched with a tasty dressing. I also noshed on some of Bertucci's classic, airy and tasty rolls. My chicken Parmesan sandwich then came out and was nicely breaded and coated with melted cheese, tomato sauce and topped off with Parmesan cheese. I thought the chicken could have been a bit more moist, but it was still tasty. The restaurant was fairly crowded at lunch and as a result there seemed to be a bit of chaos with service. For example, some parties complained that they had not yet been helped and it took around 7 minutes to get my check back. I also thought the bathrooms could have been much cleaner at Bertucci's. Altogether, this Bertucci's serves good food in a convenient area, but they could certainly improve their service.

We got drinks and did not get refills for 29 minutes we asked for other things it never came. Service was very poor. The food was good but service never came back until we waved them down.

Bertucci’s is awesome! The new staff is friendly and has super fast service! Definitely order the cookie sundae, trust me you won’t regret it!

This service is really bad. We have not had are drinks filled and we’ve been waiting for 20 minuets. We wanted pizza and they never came back. The waiters are so unhappy. But great food:)

We were pretty darn pleased. It isn't the cleanest place in the world (the table next to us wasn't cleared when we arrived and still wasn't cleared when we left), but the service was very friendly (although got distracted at times), the food was very good (free rolls were delicious and we liked our pizzas), and we had a good time.

Resturant has 3 levels, and the lowest basement has a nice and open courtyard ambience. Pizza was average, not doughy and not thin. Large pizza like $22, serve 8 slices. Pizza selection and size was ok, but personally I like bubbly hot melted cheese pizza which isn't. Overall decent experience, but would have ask for piping hot pizza next time!!!

I called prior to our visit on Valentine's Day and was urged to make a reservation. We arrived for our reservation about 10 mins early. I have been to this location before and knew that the setup is a little wonky. A woman standing by the bar in plain clothes no uniform shouted "Do you have a reservation?!!!!" To which we responded "uhhhh yea" she stated "Go down the steps"We went down the steps and stood at the hostess table... and that's when my opinion really started to form. This location is undergoing what looks like renovation in the middle of winter. The larger dining area felt like you were outside.....with just plastic covering the upper balconies thus only a few people were being seated in that area. Several servers walked passed us, each asking " Do you have a reservation? We'll be right with you"... Finally a server grabbed us and said, "ok come this way" He pointed to few tables and basically told us to choose. Mind you I have yet to be checked in for this reservation I was urged to make. Aladdin, our server, was the only professional and polite person we encountered. The rest of the servers were loud, unprofessional and seemed to be overwhelmed with the few tables they had. We ordered drinks, paid our bill, left a tip for Aladdin, and found another dinner reservation elsewhere. Although he was polite and tried everything to get us to stay. I really couldn't enjoy myself in that freezing atmosphere. It was so unorganized. I pictured getting my food and not being satisfied. I honestly didn't wait all week for that type of experience.

Great service. The staff was super nice, except the bartender on the top floor. He ignored us for at least 10 minutes and then we decided to seat ourselves. The manager was super nice and we finally got a booth. Our waiter was very apologetic and really genuine. The food was really good. We will be returning

Came here for lunch with some friends. We split the large bruschetta and burrata pizza. It was very good! It was fresh and well flavored with a light balsamic. The meal included free bread and spicy olive oil dip which is always great. However, the service was slow and they didn't refill our waters until the meal was over. It also took a long time for the servers to bring the check. The atmosphere is very casual and also very loud. The front door is open to the bar room however, if you keep walking down the stairs it opens to a larger dining area. I would recommend coming here for a casual dinner with friends or a quick lunch.

Aladdin is the best waiter! I had the fettuccine Alfredo and it was honestly so delicious! I’ll be back again:)
