Apparently, this was my last visit here as they announced they are closing. It was a place that I'll always remember because it was one of the first places my daughter worked at when she first ventured to the big city after graduating from college. My pasta dish and appetizer were amazing. The waiter was less than attentive, but when I saw the girl at the bar he was chatting up as we left. I understood why. Best of luck to everyone involved there!

This used to be one of our favorite brunch spots to frequent especially when we had visitors in town. I even hosted my bday brunch here last year.
Today’s experience was subpar at best. The coffee tasted burnt, the cream was curdled, I got the tiniest espresso martini that tasted watered down, and the cinnamon buns were a bit hard. They were short staffed, so we expected there to be a wait and waited patiently through our meal. But even when they added another waiter and the crowd thinned out, the service didn’t get any better. We had to ask multiple times for the check and when it came, it had someone else’s drinks charged to our already expensive bill. Beuchert’s unfortunately might be coming off our go to brunch spots and that really bums me out…
Truly mid tier all the way. In a world where you want to make your dollars work for you, this was very underwhelming from drinks to food to service. Plus, they were out of most items we initially ordered. Don’t want to go as far as a one or two star because items were fine but nothing special. A true 3 star. The bucatini was the only item worth ordering from what we got.
Kevin is an incredible mixologist. A true artist.

Love this place! It’s truly the quintessential neighborhood bar—with the incredible bonus of an upscale, chef-driven menu. Chef Cary and his team consistently deliver dishes that go beyond expectations. Some of my personal favorites? The oysters (always fresh), the melt-in-your-mouth short ribs, and the perfectly crispy fried green tomatoes.
The vibe is warm and welcoming, and the staff—from the attentive servers to the friendly, knowledgeable bartenders—make every visit a great experience. If you're into craft cocktails, don’t miss the Saloon Sour, the Gold Rush, or the refreshing Southeast Side. This spot has definitely become a go-to for me. Highly recommend! 🍸🍴
Kevin was awesome! Beltway boy drink is smooth!
LOVE this Capitol Hill gem. We came for dinner and sat at the bar for hours. Delicious cocktails and food, the Parker house rolls are a must and I’m still thinking about the pork ragu. Excellent music, too. Can’t wait to come back.
Enjoyed a draft IPA. Noticed that other customers' food appeared to be good.
Old western themed saloon with modern pop music. Food looked amazing, and the drinks were good. Would definitely come back. 9/10
We will never visit Beuchert’s Saloon again. Service was terrible. I will choose to take my business elsewhere.

Will be visiting when we’re in town for the Inauguration!
Would prefer to fire someone with morals and serve child molesters. Do not recommend.
I had the hen and it came with brussel sprouts and they were so salty I could not eat them. I told the waitress and all she said was that she'd tell the chef but nothing was done to remediate the salty food in front of me. I have been at this place 3 times and unfortunately I think that last time was my last.

If you have not been to Beuchert's yet, please do yourself a favor and stop reading this review and book your reservation. I promise you, you will thank me later. THIS IS MY ABSOLUTE FAV RESTAURANT IN DC. Made reservations for dinner a couple of weekends ago and we were so glad to have found this spot! We decided to share some plates in order to be able to try a couple of their dishes. To start, we tried the bison tartare, roasted bone marrow, and the little neck clams pozole. Let me just mention that I try a tartare everywhere I go, and this is definitely in the top 3. It was delicious and served with onion jam, ricotta, mustard seeds, and some celery. It also came with a side of rye toast. PHENOMENAL. The roasted bone marrow was really yummy too, and it was served with a salad, pickled pistachios... and grilled bread... YUM. Please be aware that the bone marrow plate is small... and you do not get much. We are aware of this, but some people might not be happy with that. I would definitely order it again, without a doubt. For the little neck clams... oh my gosh! So so good. They came in a tomorrow broth and were served with a chili relish and pork tasso. We wouldn't stop eating it, and don't you forget to dip your grilled sourdough in that broth!!! Okay, now for the pasta dishes. My boyfriend ordered the blue crab spaghetti, and I ordered the bucatini. Let me just say that Italian restaurants in this area should take a book out of Beuchert's Saloon. The bucatini was creamy, and the flavors were pure magic. It was served with a dry-aged pork ragu and chives. My bf is still to this day raving about his blue crab spaghetti that came with saffron, shitake, crab fat sauce, and Calabrian chiles. We were way too full for dessert, but our server brought us some truffles, which hit the spot. Service was impeccable, and our server made some great suggestions. I will stop in again in the coming weeks for another phenomenal meal.

Burgers were excellent. Great service. They had sriracha sauce. The bone marrow is good. Only thing is I would give 4 bone marrow pieces instead of 3 because it’s not that much.
