I went here my first time with a group. Service was very slow! I ordered their fish tacos which cost almost $20 and only comes with two tacos! You should not be left hungry paying $20 for tacos! Overall the place is just okay, although the tacos were tasty, they did not justify the price.

I suppose there was a chance we were there on an off night, but calling the food and service just OK is frankly more praise than is deserving. We got 3 appetizers - spicy spinach, roasted cauliflower and mushrooms. The spinach was tasty, but the other two were just kind of bland. And quite tiny portions for $9 each (not that $9 is expensive for an appetizer, but these were basically just veggies). One of the entrees (pizza) came out a good 15 minutes before the others. When I finally was able to flag someone down to ask about it, I got an offhand comment that the pizzas come out quicker? We weren't told that at the time of ordering, and regardless, that's up to the kitchen to time correctly. We when did get the rest of our food, it was all rather pedestrian. The Bidwell burger was overcooked (asked for MR), bread/bun tasted kind of old, and the margherita pizza was meh. I assume the two entree salads that were ordered were okay, but I was afraid to ask my companions at this point. I got two apps as dinner, lobster taco and bean dip. The lobster tacos were actually tasty (small but I expected that), but the bean dip was just utterly flavorless. Like it had come from a can and (barely) heated up. I couldn't even finish it. Normally, I would have said something at the time to a manager but we were there to catch up with out of town friends, and I didn't want to put a damper on the evening. Frankly, I don't really know what could have been done about the food without saying take it off the bill and we'll go elsewhere. Not an option at the time but honestly what I probably would have wanted if it had just been me and my spouse. Drinks and wine were fine. Needless to say, would not recommend.

We have gone here so many times when visiting the Union Market district. I normally don't do brunch but have gone for lunch and dinner. My son loves the Mac n cheese and pizza. I LOVE their spiked cider. It's perfect for those cold nights we've had lately. I love their salmon salad as well. The service is always amazing and the staff is always friendly and tries their best to accommodate their guests. I'll be back soon

Food was disappointing to say the least; I never put salt and pepper on my food but the omelette (and the potatoes that came with it) was so bland, I needed to. The fruit bowl is even more of a ripoff than it usually is around DC and they didn't even bother with the honey the menu said it would include. Another diner's breakfast burrito was bland AF. Coffee was always room temperature at best; how the heck can you mess even that up? Service was very friendly and knowledgeable but non-existent most of the time despite there being few patrons there and TONS of employees around since we were there early in the day. Overall, just not worth it.

Me, and one of my friends had a galentines here and it was the best experience. The owners were there and made soup at home and when they noticed us staring they offered us some. They also took Polaroid pictures of us with their camera and were very attentive and checked in on us during our meal. The workers were so kind and funny, overall a dream experience. Will be returning!

Went here for a birthday lunch with my family. Our server, Alfonso, was super attentive and patient. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Our table had, the pepperoni pizza, turkey burger, fettuccine and shrimp and several other items. The space is beautiful. I would definitely eat here again!

Very friendly staff; we sat by the door and it was very cold/windy. Due to constructions we had to use the bathroom in the market, but that will be resolved soon. Our table had the mahi mahi tacos, which were small for an entree, but tasty; cobb salad, which was satisfying; Irish cheddar soup, which was flavorful (one was gluten free and came without any "bread" in the soup--we thought it would be a gluten free baguette); and the kale salad with salmon, which was just a big pile of kale! I was really expecting more from the kale salad based on the description and would not get again. The salmon was well seasoned and cooked though.

Great surprise. Picked it because on Valentine's Day there were no other options. We were in DC on business and needed a place to have dinner. Turned out to be the best place we ate the entire week. Loved it!

I never tried the food here. So I'm not sure about that. The music is always nice. They are playing the Howard Hampton game on tv. Service is cool.

So we've been sitting in the restaurant for 30 minutes. Many of us only just got our drinks. Food is so slow. Service is non-existent. I'm not giving 1 star because the food is decent. But we haven't tasted it yet so who knows. 39 minutes... Coffee tastes like mud water. Whoops. Grilled cheese pretty good. They LOST one of our orders. SMH GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. 53 minutes...just got our food.
