Fabulous alternative to the more expensive Indian restaurant in the area (begins with an "R") that actually tastes better! The challenge is the size as it is small and the tables quite close together.
Food was pretty good. Quick, well priced, tasty. Service was pretty poor. Seemed to be lots of workers, not many guests, but right hand not knowing what left was doing. A definite opportunity for a manager.
The food is okay but the service is very slow. The waiter took our order wrong. The manager took long time to seat us. The service at Pennsylvania Av Bindaas is much better. Their menu has more items too.
Great bowl! Couple of other Indian restaurants Serving bowl in the DC area, but they add too many condiments that one may not taste the actual food. Truly liked the pairing, taste, cost and quality.
Amazing food, everything was perfectly spiced and incredibly tasty. The waiter was very nice and helpful, every suggestion turned out great. Overall, full recommendation!
Great food nice atmosphere.
centrally located, street food available, small seating area for a quick bite, veg options available but not many ..Food can pass off as close authentic Indian cuisine. They have street foods like pav bhaji , samosa etc., Over all, a nice place to visit once in a while . Prices are reasonable .
All around disappointing. Staff was kind and helpful but the systems in place and the food were a whiff. All of our food showed up at once, but at the wrong table. Then taken from the other table and given to us. No pacing for the entrees or aps. Lamb meatballs were dry. Naan was the highlight.
Very good! The spinach pita was legendary - we ordered 3 servings by the end of it.
Food used to be better. Veggie Korma was tasteless. Lamb Rogan Josh was so so. Service mediocre. Would not recommend.

Hype is overblown. 4 pieces of Gulguppa costs a hand and a leg; while overseas traveling to Nepal for mountaineering and passing through India I had some and it had cost me 35-50 cents for 1/2 dozen. Prices were high to begin with but post-COVID it's astronomical. Portions on rest of the items are smaller. Seating is cramped and they are not packed by any means so not sure why the tables are so tight together.
Maybe they were just having an off night, yesterday. The hostess showed no interest in seating anyone, despite the restaurant being less than half full. I liked our waiter at first, but he completely forgot about us after our food came out. The veggie korma was bland. The chicken curry was pretty good. I found it a little odd that both dishes came out served on top of the rice, rather than separately. Personally, I will be sticking to Indique and/ or Naanwise for Indian food.
NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.Worst Indian food I have ever had. Ordered 2 curries. Vegetable korma and Chicken Lababdar. Both the curries have the same gravy base. How can you give the same sause for 2 of your curries out of 4 in the menu. Also, we asked the server to make the curry a tad bit spicy since he said the curries are mild. All we got is chilly flakes in our food. I literally could not taste 1% of the food because all we could taste was chilly flakes. Had to eat ice cream after the dinner to calm down. You can see the amount of chilly flakes in the pictures. Would never go there every and will also make sure none of my friends go there. Also, the pictures are of 2 different dishes. Spot the difference.
Really nice Indian fusion food and cocktails
A delightful spot for a romantic date night from the culinary minds behind Rasika. Service is very friendly and the ambiance is low-lit and cozy.
