We had exceptional service. We were there for a light lunch with 2 old friends who wanted to catch up. Our server provided our meal and extra tea and in no way made us feel rushed. We so appreciated his hospitality.
Outstanding original restaurant with many selections on the menu to choose, including vegetarian dishes. Pumpkin dumplings were tender and flavorful. My wife got the veg sampler. I chose a veal stew served on rice that was delicious. Service was friendly, attentive and helped with food selections. Ambience was a delightful bistro.
We went based on recommendation for fabulous food. This was Our first time there for both couples. Service was fine but pretty slow to get to us, to check on us, to move to dessert and to close out. Not as attentive as I'd hoped. The specialty cocktails were fine but not great. I would definitely choose wine list or a standard cocktail next time. What was phenomenal was the food, excellent! Two of us did the tasting menu and from meats to veg to grains - it was exceptional...
