Fantastic time celebrating birthdays with friends. Menu seems augmented since my last dinner there a couple of months ago. Our choices (filet mignon, beef bourguignon , surf and turf special of steak and shrimp) were delightful. I really like Bistro Cacao. I got about once a year for business lunches. I love the friendliness and professionalism of the waitstaff, I think the food is very high quality and delicious. I highly recommend a visit.
This is not an easy place to review though overall I five rhem 5 stars. Great ambiance, lovely upstairs dining room. Romantic with chandeliers. Service was very good. Prices were not cheap but par for the course. The food howrver was average. Definitely french but nothing spectacular. The escargot where ok but nothing special. Same for the other items.
