Lovely brunch on the waterfront in a pleasant setting. The wait staff was great to handle our group efficiently so that we could make the matinee at Arena Stage.
Always a delicious and inviting experience. We are so lucky that our pup is welcome on their patio.
The service, quality, and flavors of the food were great. We will definitely be back on another occasion.
The food was good, but service and overall staff energy was lacking. Brought my husband here for his first Father's Day and thought people would be more personable. Had to ask for water. Ordered appetizers and mains and everything came out pretty close to each other so felt rushed to eat our appetizers so that our mains wouldn't go cold. No one said goodbye or thank you while leaving passing the host stand. Just felt like a burden that we were there giving business. Oh, and they have a little disclaimer on their menu that says something along the lines of leaving a 20% tip is expected...
Very good experience, French menu and staff were knowledgeable of the proper annunciations of each menu item!
Fantastic meal! We sat outside and had a great experience. They also were cautious with a gluten allergy in our reservation. Highly recommend!
The food was excellent. We sat outside to enjoy the fresh air. The wharf is a little loud but we didn't mind it.
Overall lackluster experience. There are better French-style restaurants in DC. Cute place, great location, food was just ok. We've had better similar dishes elsewhere locally. Wait staff was attentive but seemed disinterested. Might try brunch one day. Not sure we'd return for dinner.
Nice restaurant overlooking The water with delicious bakery items

Every time I visit Bistro du Jour, I know it’s going to be a great meal! The food is consistently good, the management is thoughtful and sweet - (shoutout to Sara!), and it’s just always a good time. I love their French onion soup, quiche, mussels, steak frites, and croque madame - YUM!

I was elated to find a vegan dish that was not centered around mushrooms or cauliflower (iykyk) 😂 their fennel and lentil dish was absolutely delicious, and unique. And my partner really loved the French onion soup. The service was great and the restaurant is super cute

We went here for breakfast as our original choice closed early. It was a good diversion. The food was great. Service was attentive. We sat in the enclosed patio and it was nice and warm with a view of the wharf.
