During my one-week stay in D.C., I visited several French restaurants, and this one stood out as the best.
The elderly lady at the restaurant reception should be more friendly and welcoming to guests. She is the first person we encounter in the morning before breakfast, and unfortunately, her attitude feels more like she’s working at the White House than in a hospitality setting. I hope she can be more warm and smiling like the rest of the staff at the restaurant.
Delicious drinks, excellent service (we appreciated the recommendations), and flavorful and beautiful dishes made this a wonderful experience.
Best to get reservations and a table. Delicious food.
Peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. Attentive and polite servers. Excellent food. Absolutely would recommend and the crispy smashed potatoes were divine.
I had an amazing time, the staff was so nice and I loved the live jazz.
Beautiful decor, super great staff and the soup and salad were delicious.

I went for brunch, which is only open on weekends. I wanted to try the other branch in The Wharf, but this branch had just opened, so I came here. I ordered a menu that recreated Paris Brest like a bagel and wine. The menu idea was unique and the taste wasn't that great, but the plating was pretty and I had a satisfying meal, so I think I'll go again. However, the price is a bit on the high side, but I think it's worth the price because the interior and atmosphere are beautiful!

It was such a pleasant surprise to find this restaurant open on Thanksgiving evening. Although they’re a French restaurant they had a Thanksgiving menu that was quite reasonable. The meal was perfectly balanced in flavors and the amount of food. Everything from the wine to the dessert and coffee was delicious and well made. The best aspect of the meal is the impeccable service, which made our experience truly memorable. What I appreciated is that there was not one ounce of rudeness towards us as we were dressed quite casually having recently arrived in town after a long drive. Every staff person was considerate and warm. We hope to visit again when we return to DC.

My son and I just ate lunch here. We are staying overnight to catch our next train the next day and this was our first time going. We did not know what to expect or that Bistro is another word for semi-fancy. So we did feel somewhat out of place but they were really kind and provided great service. The food was excellent as well. I had the Gnocchi and my son had a burger and fries. All of that couldn't have been more perfect. It is a bit pricey but not too much over that can still give a 5 star service.

We ate here before a concert at the Anthem. It was impromptu and didn't even realize what we chose was on our list of must eats. The atmosphere was nice and our waiter was quick, friendly, and helpful with ordering. We shared the French Onion Soup which was to die for! I ordered the Steak Frites and wife got the Coq Au Vin. It was extremely delicious and we will be returning to try our their other dishes.

We decided on this place because it was close to the train station, but we couldn’t have been happier. We enjoyed a happy hour drink at the bar before dinner and then had a spectacular dinner. Great service, attention from the management staff, terrific food, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Went for my birthday and had an exceptional experience! The French 75 was one of the best I had in a long time. We shared the mussels, green salad, flambé, and lobster orzo with a bottle of red wine. Marina made our experience above and beyond by sharing information about the restaurant group and offering a volcano of deliciousness chocolate mousse desert. We will definitely be going back, can’t recommend this place enough! Atmosphere was classy and relaxed, everything was stylish and super clean. 10/10.
