Maddy at the bar was amazing, even though it was busy, she could take care of us. The oysters were very good, and I enjoyed the French 75 cocktail. Good steak and fries. Great mac and cheese.
Bistro Du Jour is a great spot for a relaxed meal with a touch of class. The food is fresh and flavorful, the coffee and pastries are excellent, and the vibe feels cozy but still lively. The staff are friendly and attentive, and everything comes out beautifully presented. Definitely a place I’d come back to for brunch or a nice casual dinner.
The server was not friendly at all. She was helpful with small plate choices, but did not engage otherwise. We told her we wanted to have a drink and would let her know when we were ready to order. The restaurant was not crowded at all, but she kept coming to us every couple of minutes. The thing that was very disturbing was they refused to serve my friend another alcoholic beverage. We are mature, professional women. My friend ordered a double bourbon after having tried three...
