The service was terrible. There were about 3 servers and the place was empty (about 3PM). The person we thought was our waitress ignored us the majority of the time. In fact, at one point, we needed waters refilled, and she wouldn’t even make eye contact with our table. Just stood there and looked at her phone at the bar, and then moved over to a table so that she wouldn’t be Directly across from us. There was really only one woman who appeared to be working there despite there being multiple servers. Our food took a long time despite not getting anything complex and the place being empty - thankfully, it was tasty. I wouldn’t go back. I can’t imagine how bad the service is when the place is busy.

unfortunately, this place was a pretty disappointing experience. When we walked in, we were completely ignored by the hostess, we had never been there before and there was no signage that stated you seat yourself. It felt unwelcoming, and the lack of attentiveness continued throughout our visit – our waters were never refilled once. The drinks were a big letdown. They were loaded with store-bought sweet and sour mix, making them so bitter that they were practically undrinkable. Definitely not what we expected. I then ordered a common bourbon which wasn’t carried and there isn’t a bottle list on their menu. The food was another disappointment. Everything was so oversalted that I could barely finish my meal. The decor felt like an afterthought – there were agency seals plastered everywhere, but there didn’t seem to be a clear or cohesive style. It lacked personality or any sense of charm.

Went in for lunch on a Sunday. Last playoff game for football. Understandably we had a time limit due to reservations for the games. No problem, place didn't have have many people in it. However the food took forever to come out. The melted cheese was hard from sitting out so long before they brought it to us. The waitress/ bartender never came back to get us more drinks. When she finally did come back we told her we were done and ready for the bill. She never came back with it. We had to go find her to get it. Worst service in the DC area. The food was ok. Inside was rustic and beautiful.

The disrespectful waiter tried to cover up she didn't even ask if any one wanted the chicken, and said every option with a sneer. Horrible attitude trying to cover it up to our admin. Also DONT GET THE GRILLED CHICKEN, it was 5 skinny pieces and the brocoli was cold. It also took 10 mins extra from when everyone else got their food.

We had a few drinks and the fried deviled eggs, both were good. The service was ok and the atmosphere is sports bar.

A 5 minute walk from The White House. Nice selection of food and beverages. My linguine with shrimps and spinach and garlic bread was just delicious.
Staff a bit busy with themselves yet that is fine as long as they saw me…

I often travel to DC for work and this place happens to be close to the hotel I stay at. Overall they have a lot of options and the good as well. I had some temporary dietary restrictions and there were menu options that accommodated those needs. My only complaint is how loud it is inside the restaurant; feels like you need to yell to be able to have a conversation with someone.

Hostess was awesome - founds me a seat at the bar during a crazy night - place was packed.

Food was decent, basic bar food, beer was cold.

Then there was this ridiculous surcharge on the bill for like $1.84 - the bartender sorta kinda explained it but not really.

Am I supposed to tip? Not tip? Tip less? The same? And seriously, $1.84 on a $50 bill? Can you not just reprogram your computers and prices and pay people?

Decent, middle-of-the-road lunch/dinner spot. Food was good, but pricier than I'd expect.
