Blank Street Coffee is a mini cafe startup from NY that is slowly taking over the DC area. For a chain it has a lot of things going for it:Aesthetics: Sage green and neutral decor drew me inVibe: Baristas are very friendly and their playlist always helped me kick start my day in a positive wayCost: My large oat milk latte was under $6 which is unheard of in this economy. They also offer $15 handcrafted drink memberships which would be an incredible deal if you lived or worked nearby. The coffee was literally a glorified nespresso in branding BUT when you're a busy commuting office worker, a very welcome treat. I like the fact that they have an app so you could order when you are on the metro and pick up right before heading into the office.

I didn't go to this exact location (I went to u street). But I was eager to try this location and it didn't disappoint. I ordered the pistachio latte which was filled with just amount of flavors. The price is decent for a great size. The lady was very helpful when helping me decide which latte to get. It's clean inside of this establishment. They also sell merchandise too. I can't wait to go back to try other items. Check them out soon.

I have order coffee by app. When I came, the store was closed (saturday), but according the app it was open. They have charged for order, but I have not get it. Support just ignore my request. There is no "real" person or phone number - just bot.

Great fast service (so can avoid Tatte!)Coffee is good. Lots of seats for laptop work.

The coffee may be good but their chai is horrible. I got an iced chai tea latte and it ended being milk with a tiny bit of a chai after taste. I know this seems dramatic but I essentially paid $6.00 for milk today and that was disappointing.

Going around DC trying the best coffee and Blank Street is a strong contender for a series I'm personally starting for myself. Service was quick and the staff was nice. I went to the one on U St and wow the building itself is nice. I rate this a 4/5 because taste was there, it didn't send me straight to the bathroom (sorry tmi) but I was looking for a bit more energy/caffeine in it. If you're looking for something simple and sweet, try out Blank Street!

Got an iced Americano. It was good, ham and cheese heated croissant. Heated. Very oily. Very expensive! $6.00. The staff was nice. It's close to my office. Will go back. But not so much for food.

It’s a more grab & go coffee shop. Tried the pistachio latte after getting many recommendations to try it. The pistachio latte had a weird aftertaste, ending up having to throw it away because it made me feel sick. Go somewhere else if you want pistachio flavor. Will try another coffee drink from here to give it a second chance.

Yummy matcha. Service was really quick and efficient. Cute indoor space as well. I loved how fresh the matcha was and how creamy it was made with the right amount of sweetness.

I ordered an Iced Matcha Latte with oat milk. It tasted very bland and not enough matcha. I was super disappointed and threw away 75% of it. My husband and I wanted to try their other specialty flavored drinks but since this drink was terrible. We didn't want to risk it. The location is right under the Hyatt Place hotel. The inside was nice and clean. I wouldn't mind working or studying from the cafe!

I can’t comment on the food because we got drinks from here. The “Shaken brown sugar cold brew” is really good and their service is even better!

Coffee and service here are PHENOMENAL. I came in yesterday with my family and my daughter had forgotten her purse - the kind woman who was working had stayed a few minutes after closing hoping we would make it back to retrieve it. She was amazing. We had the pistachio latte and two strawberry and cream lattes. All wonderful and not too sweet. We will be back!
