My husband and I both ordered cappuccinos and pastries. The pastries were good, but the coffee was a real disappointment. It came out boiling hot and tasted burnt. Mine was so bad I couldn’t finish it and had to throw it away. We also noticed they use standard industrial milk, which makes a difference to the quality of the coffee. They also don’t offer real mugs, so everything comes in plastic cups, which feels quite wasteful.

This was my first time at Blank Street! I’ve heard really great things and have wanted to try it for a while. I went in thinking I knew what I wanted but then I saw a vanilla latte drink that also looked equally as good. I spoke to Mint unsure of what drink to pick. She absolutely steered me in the right direction, even saying that if my drink felt too sweet that they could remake it for no problem. You just don’t see that level of customer service anymore. I really appreciate the suggestion as the drink I ordered, the iced Blondie, was absolutely perfect. A mix of caramel, salted brown sugar, and miso. It was absolutely perfect. Thank you, Mint!!

Ordered a large hot coffee with whole milk - the second most simple order in coffee. Staff was blasting music and forgot about my order - I sat for 10 minutes before saying something. Outside of forgetting to add milk, they barely put the lid on my cup and I had hot coffee spilling down the cup onto my hands and shoes as I walked home. I would have paid the $3 to stay at home and not have this experience. Pitiful.
