BLT Steak D.C. offers a truly memorable dining experience. The steak was cooked to perfection, with a beautiful sear and melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. Paired with the rich and creamy spinach, it was a match made in culinary heaven. The complementary popover bread, similar to a Yorkshire pudding for those familiar with British cuisine, was a delightful start to the meal – airy, light, and incredibly addictive. Overall, BLT Steak D.C. excels in both food and service, making it a must-visit for steak lovers in the capital.

It's the best taste.
Wine ? is also delicious
Since it was a reception, I was able to eat luxuriously.
If you pay for it yourself, it's a price that requires a lot of courage.

I walked in on a Saturday night to a very dimly lit, almost empty steakhouse and was a little skeptical of my upcoming dinner. The decor was outdated and unimpressive, reminded me of a spruced up diner with dim lighting, but it was clean and without clutter. The bar had maybe 10 seats of which only 1 was occupied so I bellied up. Tiffany made me the perfect cocktail and was super friendly... maybe a little too intrusive with some personal questions but nonetheless she was great. I had the filet that was juicy, tender and cooked to perfection but I wasn't blown away by the flavor. The baked potato was huge but the skin was so tough. I would have much rather had an Outback baked potato. The asparagus that was presented in a little cast iron crock was perfect and sooo good! Oh and that puffy Gruyere cheese bread was unbelievable!! I definitely will return but probably just for the bread and asparagus and something other than a steak.

We had such a great experience on 6/21 that we had to return - for our final day in DC - to BLT Steak DC. While Friday was great, Saturday was even better. Tiffany was awesome, David was awesome, the chef was awesome, and the general manager was awesome (everyone, in fact, is pretty awesome). We already know that anytime we're in DC (and we get there a handful of times most years), BLT Steak DC will always be one of the stops on our list!

Everyone at BLT Steak DC was awesome, especially Tiffany. We had Branzino with Garlicky Kale, along with 2 specially-crafted cocktails. Everything was absolutely delicious. Thank you again for a great all-around experience!

The service was excellent, the steak very good, but for this price, I expect that the sides are better.

Overall we did not have a great experience. We were very hopeful after seeing reviews. We should have known we were in for an evening when the waiter was very short and did not answer any of the questions we had regarding the food. Let’s start with the good. We ordered drinks and oysters to start. The drinks were great as well as the oysters. This is where to good stopped. We ordered our steaks (cowboy ribeye medium rare and a NY strip medium) we also asked how big the sides were and were told that they were a shareable size for two. So we ordered the mashed potatoes and the asparagus. Steaks came out…. Ribeye was cooked medium and the strip was medium rare, both steaks were surprisingly tough to not only cut but also to chew. On top of that neither steak had much flavor to speak of. The mashed potatoes and asparagus were both good but would hardly call them a shareable size. Our waiter also never came back over to our table to check on us or our food until we were two bites away from being finished, despite going to the table next to us at least three times to check on them and their food. Overall I did not think the food was worth the price and would not recommend. Glad to see others have had positive experiences.

I had the pleasure of helping with repair in the kitchen and just had the best lunch I've ever had. I left full, happy and completely satisfied. The Chef, Manager and Staff are amazing.

This was a wonderful treat...Excellent customer service! I had the chef's signature seafood which was red snapper, and it was magnificent! Tender and flavorful ....very well done.. My table friends had steak, and it was very nicley seasoned ... The bread, oh my gosh, was incredible...... I dont know how they made it, what they put in it, but it was fantastic... The waiter was knowledgeable and considerate.... My group was pleased... highly recommend.

Keith was our server and he was outstanding. Seriously some of the best service I have had in a long time. The food was very good and the restaurant is very nice. It was very quiet the night we were there, but again, the service was outstanding!

The cook was nice and came out to our table and apologized for serving a salty salad. The food was nothing to want to come back for another visit I was extremely disappointed after putting in my message to the restaurant that it was my wife's birthday and to serve a slice of cake with a candle that they didn't follow through or even read my message

Made reservation two weeks before and restaurant was almost empty when we came Friday night. Every dish we ordered was excellent; tuna tartare, steak tartare, lobster salad, New York steak and fresh baked bread was delicious. Definitely recommend

My family had a great dining experience at BLT. The cowboy steak was the best I have had in DC so far. The Orchid cocktail is my new favorite cocktail. The Gruyère popovers are incredible!!! The crepe soufflé was unlike anything I had before. So delicious!!!! And that dessert was on the house for my birthday. So nice. The only cons were: 1) it was pretty dark inside. I love a dimmed light, but this was really dimmed. 2) the sides were pretty pricey given the small size and they didn't taste as good as they should for the price either. 3) they served us some bread right away, but it didn't come with butter. It was a mystery spread and no one mentioned what it was when they brought it. We eventually asked and it was chicken pate. My fam isn't into pate so we skipped but it was a little strange. Overall, such a great experience. Still giving it 5 stars despite some of the cons and I will be coming back. Thanks BLT for a great bday dinner!

Should’ve just gone to Texas Roadhouse.
Staff should really write the orders down.
The appetizer never made it to the table, had to ask for bread multiple times. Even had to get up and get my own knife.
My “waguy” steak was cooked well done when I asked for medium rare. My wife’s steak was cooked medium rare when she asked for medium well. They offered a replacement that was still raw and my wife just ended up eating alone while I was waiting for bread.
Ended up having just bread and water.
They covered the drinks which were the only highlight of the night, but should’ve just gone to Texas Roadhouse.

Came early for our reservation, was told to wait at the bar. Never was told that our table was ready. After finally being seated for over 20mins no one came to wait on us. I had to flag the manager down. My wife ordered a medium well steak, well it came out very well done. We expected more for a $240 dollar bill.
