Blue 44 Restaurant and Bar

We love Blue 44. It's a wonderful neighborhood restaurant. The staff is friendly and experienced, the food is really good with a great variety, and it is good value. It's why we keep coming back.

This is a great neighborhood restaurant. The service was incredibly good and the food excellent. We would have eaten outside but thought the live music on Friday night was too loud. (They left at 7 pm though.)

We all enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant (for a change since the pandemic). Both my friends and I loved our meal, the waiter was attentive without being overbearing and to top it off it was 1/2 price wine night! In addition to enjoying Monday's fried chicken dinner, we will be frequenting indoor and patio dining more often!

This was our first time ever coming to this venue, and we were really excited about it. Unfortunately, it just didn't live up to our expectations. Throughout the entire meal, it felt as though we were being rushed to order and finish our meal as paying customers. The food was also lacking flavor and seasoning. The drinks we ordered were tasty though!

Made reservations for Monday evening specifically for the fried chicken special. Arrived at 7:15 and was told that they were out of the fried chicken special offered on Mondays. This is the second time this has happened to me at Blue 44.

Came here for Tour del Taco and got the fish tacos. Overall very bland and each taco only contained fish (breaded but not crispy at all) and some red cabbage. They came with an option of fries or a small side salad which were fine, I guess. I was moderately hungry but opted to not finish the meal with how unflavorful it was.For $25, I felt very ripped off. They really need to add some more ingredients + spices to the tacos.

Atmosphere wasn’t great. Service a bit rude. Gumbo pretty good, all else very mediocre.

Delicious all-inclusive food and a drinks package for €15 pp! Top concept, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Recommended!

I recently visited Blue 44 for lunch, and overall, I found it to be a decent dining experience. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, providing a comfortable setting for a midday meal. The menu offered a variety of options, and the food quality was satisfactory, with flavors that pleased the palate. However, I couldn't help but notice that the prices were a bit on the higher side for the portion sizes and offerings provided. While I enjoyed my meal, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was paying a premium for what I received. That said, Blue 44 is still worth a try if you're in the area and looking for a nice lunch spot with decent food, albeit at slightly elevated prices.

I never leave reviews but this was really bad, the experience really ruined my night visiting my partner. The atmosphere was abysmal, completely empty and no music playing. The food was not great, I hardly touched it and my partner and the server commented on it. Service was fairly slow and honestly i was really just trying to get out of here so i could enjoy my night elsewhere. Would really not recommend given other options in the area.

To be fair, I've eaten there exactly once, but for that part of town you get a decently priced meal in a homey setting with delightful staff. We will absolutely be back when we're in the area.
