The flavors were bold, fresh, and perfectly balanced.

I disliked all but the soup at this restaurant, which may be more of a problem that as a person used to spicy, tart or simply salty flavors in my food, i can’t find value in food that tastes barely seasoned yet didn’t seem to accentuate the natural flavor of the ingredients. Service was also weird because the server didn’t bring us the cocktail menu but gave it to the table of businesspeople next to us. Granted they also didn’t give such menus to one other table we saw, so it might be a coincidence. The bone marrow was very disappointing. If anyone visits Hanoi House in NYC, I recommend trying their bone marrow with pho/rice.

Very neat restaurant that unlike most hotel dining, it stands out from the hotel on its own. The servers were extremely personable and professional, it's hard to find a good balance at most higher end establishments.
The food in presentation and taste was excellent. We had breakfast and lunch there. The crab cakes and pork sandwich were our favorites.
The atmosphere is nice and open with big windows with a nice view even in the winter!

Restaurant is underrated. Food was excellent, staff is beyond attentive. They made my daughter and I feel very welcome. Highly recommend stopping in. The picture I posted is half of a Caesar salad. I forgot to take the picture before I smashed half of it.

I must take a minute to outline the experience and personally suggest all who visit BDT to ask for Raj. Every dining experience has an intangible magic ingredient and he is it! His service and attention to detail accented the superb execution of our meals! We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary dinner and we were presented with a menu signed by the staff! Top tier all the way!

Hadn’t been in a few years. I’d return, but this visit didn’t make me want to rush back. Had salad and duck wings, which were very tasty. Service was good when present, but sporadic - not absent but certainly not attentive. Could have been due to timing (in between lunch and dinner), but ideally service is consistent during the hours an establishment is open. Also, VERY loud construction noise during a portion of the visit was disruptive.

The food at the Blue Duck is exquisite - flavorful and beautifully presented. There is a tea menu with a wide selection of different types of teas and caffeine levels. The service is attentive. I will definitely be returning in the future.
Amazing breakfast buffet! The waiter was also amazing, very attentive and polite. I do not regret spending an hour trying to find a breakfast place in DC for this.

Good food. Staff offered to swap my burger fries for salad after I told them I didn't want fries. Temperature was a bit too warm during dinner.

Rustic, elegant, so not too formal.
Must have : duck egg appetizer.
Also: try the espresso martini, uniquely in a bottom up glass with chocolate salt.
Garganelli : ok
Virginia peanut chocolate cake : good.
Attentive service in line with the high end nature of the place.
