I recommend this restaurant familiarize themselves with the Americans With Disabilities Act. When I notified them that my blind friend had a seeing eye dog they initially told me that dogs are not allowed. I had to reiterate that the law protects service animals and that legally they are required to provide service. It is not her fault that she is blind and she literally needs the dog to get around. The food itself is good, but currently I cannot recommend this restaurant to people with disabilities.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a step to enter the building. There are two tables downstairs, the remainder of the tables are upstairs. So this restaurant is potentially not wheelchair accessible dependent on if the tables downstairs are taken. Additionally the downstairs tables are in a narrow corridor, requiring tight turns that may make it difficult for wheelchairs to fit.

I am the blind friend that @ Ceterisbearibus dined with at Bluefin. My dog and I can walk up stairs. That’s not the problem. The issue is that the staff were dismissive and hostile towards a customer with a service animal. She’s more than a pet…she performs task that allow me to navigate safely. There are times where she has literally prevented me from getting hit by a car. The food was great but I’d pay more to eat at a place where I’m treated with respect and dignity.

Best sushi spot in Georgetown. Small dining room but really fresh and reasonably priced food.

The cutest little hole in the wall! Very much of the beaten path but definitely worth it!

I loved the sushi here. It is an unassuming restaurant. When you get in, you’ll order and pay first then either take your food to go or get your table assignment and be sent upstairs. Green tea and hot Sake were great. Perfect balance for the cold night. We ordered the baked scallop, baked salmon, dragon roll, and the cherry blossom roll. All amazing. We asked for spicy ponzu. It’s not something that they ever carry, but they did an amazing go of it! (Really simple… Ponzu + Sriracha). I will go again for certain! When we were done eating, we were able to just up and go. The service is good and pleasant.

The sushi was excellent, the service also was professional and kind.
A bit more interesting interior, more comfortable chairs or larger space would make this place perfect, but without doubt it's great place.

Ripped us off by 50$+!!! Dont recommend! Right after you enter the door you are supposed to choose and pay your order at the counter, which is OK. We did that, the order was 56$.
Then they gave us the bill and I wrote 15 percent as a tip. When I started to count the total, the lady said to not bother that she will do it and we should proceed upstairs to sit.
Everything seemed to be ok, until I checked my internetbanking and they charged us 113$. This never happened to me. Absolutelly dont recommend. Will contact their managenent and inform them about this incident.
Best sushi around, get the yummy yummy roll, salmon belly nigiri and the yellowtail jalapeño.

Nice vibe and great sushi!
I guess the view from the second-floor seat is the best. I came here Wednesday night to celebrate one of my papers getting accepted to the journal. But I was asked to pay at the beginning of the order and tip. That's a weird mechanism. How much do I know I must tip if we haven't been served? The food is a bit small and is not worth the price. However, I don't blame them, this is not uncommon because most Georgetown restaurants are overpriced. And the inflation is just a bit crazy.

Quiet and quality sushi place in Georgetown. I was a little surprised by the casual dining atmosphere, especially since it’s right by the canal, but the sushi is excellent and priced just right, so it was well worth it! I look forward to coming back to this hidden gem for a quiet and quality sushi place in Georgetown.

Amazing food. The shrimp tempura is the best I’ve had outside of Japan and their sushi rolls are delicious. I’m definitely adding this place to my to-go list.

Very expensive for small portions of food, the quality isn’t all that for sushi unfortunately, the service is amazing and friendly employees.
