My new favorite place for beer and food. I went here for my birthday last month with a friend. Our server Carmen was SUPER awesome and very accomodating. She answered any and all questions we had and even gave spot on recommendations. But wait...it gets better! The manager, Mike was also AWESOME. Gifted me a complimentary birthday drink and had a great convo with us. Will definitely return when I come into DC.

However, we saw it through as I always wanted to try this place. Glad we held on as the food was great. Simple yet filling. I would definitely come back again.
I had the fried chicken sandwich with the dry rub and it was delicious. I do kind of regret getting the fried chicken sandwich as I saw someone order the burger and that looked great.
The ambiance itself is cool. Such a great use of space and the brewery equipment being highlighted throughout was a nice touch.

My experience at Bluejacket Restaurant in Washington, D.C. was nothing short of amazing.
We arrived around 9:19 p.m. after spending some time looking for parking. I was there with my wife, our kids, and a good friend. Even though the kitchen was scheduled to close at 9:30 p.m., we were welcomed warmly and made to feel comfortable right away—no rushing, no attitude, just genuine hospitality.
We quickly reviewed the menu and placed our order, including two bread pudding desserts. There was a small mix-up where the bread pudding came out before our meal, but the manager handled it flawlessly. He apologized, took it back without hesitation, and even comped the desserts, which was a classy and appreciated gesture.
Now, the food absolutely incredible. I ordered the eggplant parmesan, served in a cast iron pot with sauce on the side—rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. My wife had the catfish, which she loved. My kids and my friend ordered the chicken and waffles, and they couldn’t stop talking about how good it was. Everyone at the table agreed this was one of the best meals we’ve had in a very long time. What really stood out was the service. Too often, when you arrive close to closing time, you’re met with poor attitudes or rushed food. That was not the case here at all. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and genuinely happy to serve us.
By the end of the night, everyone kept asking me, “How did you find this place?”and they were all thankful that I did.
This is a restaurant I will definitely return to, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and even better service.

It's a great spot but it was too loud. We are a large party and even we couldn't hear the people across from us properly. Food looked great, but not everything tasted good. However the drinks were excellent and the service extremely helpful. Note that parking is difficult and expensive so we probably will not show up here via personal vehicles but by metro.
It was great, and had alot of options for craft beers made on site.

I was there on 12/10/2025 and the music was on point. I'm a regular and the music is normally stale. But tonight my wife and I really was able to vibe with the tunes. Keep this vibe. I'll bring more people if we can have this vibe!!!! The bartender Darrell was awesome!!!

I visited this establishment around 4 PM to pick up an order, and the experience was very disappointing. When I walked in, I politely spoke to a woman wearing a red Nationals jersey who appeared to be working there, but she just looked at me and didn’t say anything back. I am currently in the middle of completing an order, and encountering this kind of attitude is upsetting and unprofessional. If this is the level of customer service being provided even when a customer speaks first of then this is not a place I can support. It truly feels like they pick and choose who they want to treat with basic courtesy. Because of this experience, I will not be referring any family or friends to dine or order from this establishment.
