The coffee was all foam. A flat white is no froth. I am from NY but on holiday from Australia where I have embraced the Melbourne coffee culture for 9 years. Just unacceptable and rude service. This is not an Australian Cafe. Unless you want a burnt American coffee.

Food was disgusting. Got my kid an oatmeal. I guess it was some vegan version with cashews and almond milk. The little one was a trooper and tried eating but after a while asked me with a look in his eyes if he could be all done and get something else because it was gross. I decided to try a bite, being skeptical, and yep it was disgusting. I got a breakfast burrito and the eggs were grey. It had a weird dill mayo on it. Would not recommend this place. It's an odd choice for something affiliated with the National Children's Museum.

I’ve been coming in recently theses past few days Because I’m visiting from Illinois and this coffee shop has been my go to since I’ve came to dc The baristas are. Very kind and quick and very friendly and The drinks and toast are always good and to my liking , they always ask the little things what make the experience so much better , I wish there was one where I live :( the only downside is the seating There’s a lady with an accent sounds British and a young man with long hair and tattoos the young man is a conversationist OK I and the young woman Is very funny

Stopped here for lunch whilst on a walk and wow. This place was amazing. The coffee was the nicest I think I’ve ever had and the food was just as incredible! I recommend this to anyone who is in the area! 😊

Nice Coffee Shop attached to the Childrens Museum. We grabbed some drinks and snacks for our kids after the museum. The staff was welcoming and friendly, drinks and food taste good as well.

Be aware that this is a decidedly grown-up coffee shop. No classic kid-friendly items like chicken nuggets are available.
It is probably solid for workday stuff like avocado toast, but the co-location with the kids museum seems like a missed opportunity to allow people to grab a burger etc. that kids might like.
If your kids are even a little picky, this place’s focus on adult breakfast tastes might drive you elsewhere, as it did for my family. Also note the dining area is only semi-climate controlled. Temperature is similar to outdoors.

Love this location! Nice to pop by on a walk down to the monuments. They don’t have all the food that other locations do.

This morning I was greeted with a warm welcome from Louisa and Benji. I ordered a strawberry & blueberry smoothie. The ingredients tasted fresh and the smoothie was just as I craved. Overall I appreciated the kind customer service from the two and I hope to have many more pleasant interactions & experiences at blue stone.

I like their matca latte but I had a worst matcha latte today that I had to throw it out. There was no ice and didn't taste anything.

Americano took 20 minutes. Barista should notify customers of wait time. Wouldn't recommend.

I think this place is a scam because I never received my food and there is no phone number to call. NEVER order deliver to take away from her there is NO WAY to get your money back when they never give it to you. Shameful.
