We were there for a relative’s birthday. The food was amazing and they all came pretty quickly. The server gave us mango mousse, which was delicious. I always order on DoorDash. Their chicken biryani is a must try

I ordered Veg Noodles, and got Maggie with lot of Veggies. Filled with spices, taste was ok. It was worst experience, haven't tasted any other stuff. Was expecting a good Indian street style Noodles.

Worst food ever had. Ordered samosa chaat, chicken Manchurian and Bhel puri. Samosa chaat was decent but the rest was so bad, chicken Manchurian was some bad chicken pieces dipped a lot of food color. Very disappointing.

Beautiful restaurant with pretty atmosphere. Chose this restaurant the Sunday night of Katsucon due to the closeness to the convention but unfortunately, our troubles started right away.

We had shown up on time for our reservation and somehow— we had to wait for a table despite the restaurant being nearly empty at the time. This wasn't a terribly long wait but when our party was sat, we were immediately prompted for a drink order and when we asked for just a few minutes to take a look at the menu— we were deserted for over 15 minutes.

Copious amounts of eye contact brought our waiter back over eventually and when he did come back— we asked about a sticker on the table offering free desert for insta followers. We asked if there was a specific desert or something and were told we’d be able to order whatever we wanted off the desert menu.

We asked about tea since there were multiple tea options on the limited menu and we asked if they had Thai tea at all. They said they did and we clarified Thai tea— not Chai, just to make sure, but that clarification didn’t matter at the end of the day as we were brought two hot Chais that cost 7$ each. We figured hey, our fault— and decided to eat that cost and move along.

By the time food came out— the first thing we noticed was the teeny portion sizes. There was very little rice which made the 20 dollar price tag on the Butter Chicken very steep— but worst yet, ALL the meat was somehow dark meat. I cut a piece and the grey-pink color completely turned me off.

But, moving on— when we finished the meal— our party once again had to chase down a waiter as he did not come back to our table at all after dropping off the entrees. We asked about desert again and were now informed the only free desert was rice pudding. Our party asked about deserts we could purchase and were told to order anything. We ordered the vanilla brûlée.

Ten minutes later, the waiter came back and dropped off a bowl of rice pudding on the table without a word and walked away. I walked over and asked him what this was and asked him what this was— to which he replied— “rice pudding.” I asked if we really were getting the brûlée and he replied that the pudding was the brûlée despite none of the toppings (caramel and pistachios). I asked about the and he said it was “mixed.”

I said I did not believe him as he went back and forth with me multiple times. I asked for a manager and he left only to come back ten minutes later and he told me that a manager was not available.

I attempted to explain the multiple communication issues and was told the desert was correct and that we were at an Indian restaurant so Thai Tea would’ve been out of place. Understandable but I had asked multiple times and it’s not like Sprite is an authentic Indian beverage.

After the waiter leaving and coming back for a third time to argue with me— I told him I did not want to do this anymore and wanted to pay our check and leave. We did so and while the price was steep— we did not realize that half of that was an 18% service charge on EACH of our bills. This ended up being an extra 15$ on a three person bill, not including the extra tip we were prompted for before we realized this.

Overall, the food was not worth the price nor the headache to have only left half full with a bad taste in our mouths and a headache from staff.

Naan and samosas were great! The tikka masala, Chana masala, and lamb vindaloo were way too spicy and practically inedible. Extremely disappointing for the money spent on the food
