Bonchon Washington DC - Ivy City Food Works

Tasted nothing like food from other Bonchon locations. Wings were weird shaped and soggy, not breaded like Korean fried chicken. Cole slaw and wing sauce was flavorless. Corn was oily.

HORIBBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE. They are serving trash at the 5th street location in Washington DC and won't answer the phone because they know it's trash. Expensive trash! Please choose to eat somewhere else.

This is very different from the real bonchon in navy yard. Ordered on DoorDash and they say 4 drumsticks but give you one big one (per usual) and a tiny one. Wing sizes are incredibly wrong - way smaller from the original as we are used to at the original location. Be careful where you order from and pick the navy yard one not this misleading one.

Ordered through DoorDash and was quite nervous after reading the reviews but I’m glad they were wrong or the restaurant upped their game. Food was fresh, tasty and delicious. Love BonChon from Navy Yard, but happy to find out that there’s one right by Metropolitan Branch Trail…we’ll be ordering from here again.

Second time, receiving food first time I got a quick lunch this time someone got it for both of us. Got it last night and this is a Terrible location whatever happened in past two weeks needs to go back. Food is terrible, beyond terrible. At this point close it down. Whoever is in charge of this business needs to pack up and go somewhere else. Not a real BONCHON don’t waste your money.

I received terrible quality food from this Bonchon location. The strips were tiny and overcooked. I was completely flabbergasted someone could send this order out for delivery. The side of radish was even in a smaller container and they did not send ketchup with fries.

I have ordered from the Navy Yard location from years(including for coworkers) and can tell you to avoid ordering from this Bonchon at all costs.
