Boundary Stone is a welcoming neighborhood bar and restaurant with a chill vibe and elevated food. The pot pie has a wonderful flavor, although the chicken could be more tender. The Triple H sandwich is incredibly hot and may not be suitable for regular human consumption. The staff is friendly and attentive, making it a great spot for special occasions. The atmosphere is cozy, and the drinks are crafted with care, whether enjoying a classic cocktail or seasonal specials. The food often exceeds expectations, with dishes like the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich and fish and chips praised for their quality. The oysters are perfectly shucked and chilled, and the mozzarella sticks are crispy and cheesy, despite some humorous mishaps. Boneless wings are made in-house and considered some of the best fried chicken around. Entrees such as burgers, fried chicken sandwiches, salmon BLT, and fish and chips are all highly recommended. Vegetarian options include salads and Seitan dishes.
The restaurant is also known as a great sports bar, especially popular among Philadelphia fans. Recent visitors enjoyed crispy brussels sprouts and the spicy chicken sandwich, which were both delicious. The service staff is fast and very friendly. The cheesesteak is considered the best in the city, perfectly cooked and seasoned, with a size slightly more than a burger but smaller than expected for a traditional cheesesteak. The habanero chicken sandwich is juicy, flavorful, and spicy but manageable for those with some spice tolerance. Sweet potato fries are crispy and well seasoned. Mozzarella sticks are praised as some of the best ever, seeming homemade with a fiery marinara sauce. Although slightly pricey, many agree it is the only place to watch Eagles or Phillies games in DC and highly recommend it for its quality and atmosphere.
