Service and esthetic were cool but the food was terrible. I got wings, mozzarella sticks, and the oysters were shared with the table.
The wings were cooked hard (over cooked) and the bbq sauce wasn’t all that great. The mozzarella sticks were bland not that great. The Oysters were really good that was the only thing I enjoyed. My friend had a burger he said it was the worst burger he had in a while and he wouldn’t ever come back sadly I feel the same way.
Also what threw me for a loop was the $4 canned drinks and the mandatory tip. I paid $40 for wings and mozzarella sticks and a canned drink. I didn't finish my wings or sticks nor did I want a box because I did not enjoy my food. I'd guess this spot is more so for the drinks and not the food.

My friend and I came to get some grub on a Weds night, and we immediately left after being seated because people at the bar were yelling and hollering at the top of their lungs for a game on TV (maybe baseball?). Definitely not a place to go if you’re just looking for some food, and definitely more of a bar/loud setting.

Relaxing neighborhood vibes
Went here to catch the Phillies playoff game and it was a great time! Lots of great energy to the bar and it was nice to be around so many Philadelphia fans in DC. Crispy brussels sprouts and spicy chicken sandwich were both delicious and the people working service were fast and very friendly. Will definitely go back

Really great sports bar, even better if you're a Philly Sports fan! Some of the best food I've ever had in a sports bar.
Cheesteak: absolutely delicious! Slighty more food than your average burger but a lot smaller than I expected a cheesteak to be. Perfectly cooked and seasoned.
Habanero chicken sandwich: perfectly cooked chicken sandwich. It was both juicy and flavorful. It's very spicy, but not unbearable if you have any spice tolerance.
Sweet potato fries: crispy and well salted/seasoned.
Mozzarella sticks: prob some of the best mozz sticks I've ever had. They seem homemade and the marinana sauce is 🔥🔥.

The vibe was great! Our server seemed to be in a mood, but I didn't take it personally. I wish they had bigger tvs for the outside sitting area. The patrons seem to be regulars and they are definitely Eagles fans!! GO BIRDS! I enjoyed the game and rooting with the fans. Will return for another game and to check it out. Nice location

Only place to go for an Eagles or Phillies game in DC. Best cheesesteak in the city by a mile, and honestly better than many cheesesteaks in Philly. A bit pricey but I can’t recommend this place more.

The food I ordered did not come out. I had to flag down the only waiter working to get it. When I finally got my food, it was underwhelming and cold. Not worth the $40 I spent there.

When I talk about brunch with friends the first place out of my mouth is Boundary Stone! Their Fried Chicken Benny is incredible. Tender and Crispy Fried Chicken with perfectly cooked Eggs Benedict is always my go to. Then the Bottomless Drink options are all great, but my go to is their Bloody Mary. It's easily, hands down, the best Bloody Mary in DC. Its perfectly savory and has a bit of spice. Then also the staff is also incredible! They're pretty quick to make sure you're always topped up with your drink. Then they're all very friendly too.
Honestly I'd go here every Saturday/Sunday if I could, because between the amazing food and drinks its also just great bang for your buck if you like doing a bottomless brunch.

Sieten wings were terrible, almost inedible. Hot chicken sandwich was good, just not a fan of the double patty and the whole thing was soaked in the sauce. Artichoke dip was very soupy, literally soaking the bread. We enjoyed the drinks.

A mozzarella stick met its fate,
When it burst through its crispy bread plate.
The cheese took a flight,
In the fryer—what a sight!
Gelatinous cheese pooled, why was it served.... upright?!
Awesome food, get the chicken Sammich.
Cool local pub in Bloomingdale area of DC. Happy Hour chicken sammie is worthy. So are the discounted draft pours.
Boundary Stone is the ultimate neighborhood gem!
This place hits every mark—cozy atmosphere, top-notch food, and a crew of bartenders that make you feel like a regular from your very first visit. The drinks are crafted with care and consistently delicious, whether you’re sipping a classic cocktail or trying one of their seasonal specials.
What really sets Boundary Stone apart is the vibe: warm, welcoming, and effortlessly cool. It’s the kind of spot where the food is way better than it needs to be for a bar (trust me, Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich), and the bartenders not only remember your name but also your go-to drink.
Whether you’re stopping by for a casual night out or bringing friends for a low-key evening, Boundary Stone always delivers. It’s hands-down my favorite bar in the neighborhood and honestly, probably in the whole city.
Boundary Stone is OUTSTANDING! My sons and I enjoyed an early dinner and it hit every mark - excellent service and food. It is obvious Team Boundary Stone loves their work. They take pride in their food and are cheerful. The bartender thanked us for coming in when he dropped off our drinks.
Details matter and Boundary Stone pays attention. Their oysters are perfectly shucked and chilled. Their sauces were all delicious. We also enjoyed the mozzarella sticks and boneless wings to start. The boneless wings were made in house. As my son remarked, it may have been the best fried chicken he’s ever had.
For entrees, my sons ordered the burger, fried chicken sandwich and salmon BLT. All raved about their choices. The hot honey sauce was a crowd pleaser. I opted for the fish and chips. They are the best in the DMV. The fish was firm, perfectly fried, and the batter to fish ratio was genius. When I shared this with our waiter he humbly said, “We’re Irish, we better be able to make good fish and chips…”
Boundary Stone’s neighbor are blessed to have such a great restaurant and bar in their “hood.” I wish I was so lucky.
We all agreed, we cannot wait for our next visit.
Vegetarian options: They have a few Seitan options as well as salads.
