Above all else the service here is absolutely top notch. That said, the steaks are delicious and cooked perfectly. If you'd like a good steak and prefer prime or wagyu, then this is one of the few places in DC that delivers.

The service was simply spectacular. The attention from start to finish was outstanding, highly professional, and very consistent. Although steaks are clearly their specialty, the fish I ordered was exceptional, perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The overall experience was top tier in both service and quality. Highly recommended.

Every dish, from the agnolotti to the chicken to the wagyu steak, tasted as if the kitchen had dredged it in salt. Twice. A surprisingly unappetizing meal—one so poor I broke my rule against writing reviews. The service was friendly but just didn't have much to work with. Consider one of the dozens of other steakhouses in the area.
Absolutely amazing. I had the best birthday thanks to Bourbon Steak. The wagyu is to die for- it's a must have. We had the scallops, French onion soup, some mocktails, a 7oz Australian Wagyu filet, the 14oz Wagyu ribeye, truffle mushrooms and brussel sprouts. For dessert we had the beignets and a complimentary birthday ice-cream. This will always be my favorite restaurant in DC and a huge thank you to the wonderful staff for a truly magnificent experience!
I had a great time celebrating my 29th birthday at Bourbon Steak. My friends and I had a wonderful time and the food was absolutely amazing. The NY Strip was perfect!
Lovely family lunch to celebrate the New Year. Our server Andrew was attentive & proficient. He took note of food allergies for 2 of our party. All the food came out hot and cooked to description. My husband & I had been to Burbon Steak in Nashville, TN but this was our 1st time at the Washington DC location. We all enjoyed our dishes and sides. Four Seasons hotel was beautifully decorated for the holiday season 🎄

Excellent lunch on New Years day. Excellent service and food. We had 5 in a group and our food came out as described. 2 of us had been to Bourbon Steak in Nashville TN a few years ago. We had consistent high level of service & food from Washington DC location too.
Absolutely amazing dining experience with friends. All the food was delicious and the service was over the top. Being our first time there our waiter made sure we had a memorable evening. The chef prepared a french fry sampler as I mentioned the reviews said their fries were a must have.

Bourbon Steak is not only one of my favorite steak house in the DC area, but one of my favorite overall restaurants period! This place always hits.
Cocktails- dirty gin martini is my go to. Their truffle parm olives are one of a kind and unbelievable!
Starter- their shrimp cocktail is my all time favorite! Hearty, meaty well seasoned shrimp that are nice and chilled - that’s key. Great presentation. Great way to start a proper steakhouse experience!
Salad- I never rave about a salad, but their Caesar (although I love the presentation of the whole baby gem lettuce, I like getting it chopped) paired with their soft fresh baked skillet rolls is one of my favorite bites in the city!
The meats- The wagyu double burger is great, but their prime steak burger is one of my favorite burgers I’ve ever had.. top 3 for sure! Bold and flavorful meat, nice touch of acidity and sweetness from the onion “jam”, shredded lettuce and sauce chive it Big Mac vibes. Seeded bun is airy yet holds up well to this succulent, juicy burger.
Ribeye and New York strip prepared to perfect temperature. They let the quality of the meat do the talking, and boy do they talk. NY strip lean, yet tender and juicy, bold flavor. The ribeye, melt in your mouth tender, great flavor and richness.
Staff and service is always top notch as well.

Took my husband here for his 40th. Food was great. Our steaks were a perfect medium rare but very salty. Truffle mac n cheese and brussel sprouts were delicious. The complimentary fries and sauces were an interesting touch, and the croissant was tasty. Our server was awesome and overall had a lovely night for a special occasion. Staff were all nice.

I've been to the bar several times and recently had the chance to have dinner. WOW! All the drinks and dishes were incredible. One of the best meals I've had in DC. The staff are incredibly professional and knowledgeable. I can't wait to come back!

Our first visit. Terrible value. Incredibly expensive for very average food and experience. We had steaks and lamb, nothing to complain about, nothing to rave about. The bright spots were a very accommodating bar staff, and the beet salad was excellent.
Quality steaks and drinks. The seafood can be hit or miss.
