I was very pleased by the quality and variety of the coffee and pastry selection, and the prices are really fair for this city. A couple things to note: (1) This cafe is located inside a hostel, so the sitting area is a bit more run down than some of the images depict. There are a lot of suitcases around, etc. (2) The wait for our order was relatively long. This isn’t the fault of the barista. She was very friendly and helpful. I love the ambiance in this cafe- I can’t believe it’s right off of bustling U street! The mocha was pretty good although it is more on the milky side. I would have given it 5 stars but it took 15+ min to get my mocha. Granted there was only one person working but I would reconsider going here if you’re in a rush.
I just love setting down and drinking my coffee every morning before I go to work the ambiance feel like home, the smile on the counter ( guy) gives positive attitude in the morning that help us awaken our spirit in the morning while we are still half asleep.😊
