Showed up at 6:30 PM on a Tuesday and they were closed. Are they closed permanently?

EDIT: See below: this is permanently closed, despite it being listed as active in Google. The company web site makes no mention of this location at all on their front page, and the location itself has no signage we could see that informs people who walk up that it's permanently closed.

(Will update the review when there's signage posted at that location and clear messaging on the company's front page about the status of this location.)

Update your store hours if you are going to be closed 90 minutes before advertised. I even called in and your recording indicated you were open.

I randomly found this place while looking for something my friend could eat. She was very excited that it was plant based and kosher. I didn't know what to expect but I gave it a try. Nothing on the menu had meat but they had fake meat. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich and I was blown away! It was ridiculously delicious! I'm a meat eater and this tasted legit. I also order the onion rings on the side and those things were enormous, crunchy, and packed with flavor in each bite. I would absolutely go back if I'm in the Dupont area.

Just FYI, the food was a bit pricey but that doesn't ever impact my reviews.

Great vibes inside and nice staff! I got the plain cheeseburger and salt and pepper fry combo. The burger was VERY saucy (a little too much sauce) and the impossible patty wasn’t seasoned very well (or at all not sure). The fries were good! They tested like regular fries with salt.

Very cute restaurant, delicious plant based options, friendly staff. We had a fantastic orange and pistachio salad and one of their house made beet burgers- they were both fantastic and great for splitting between the two of us. The sweet potato fries were literally the best that I've ever had. We will definitely be back

Very impressed with this cozy healthier fastfood vegan place. I was most impressed with the combination of onion rings, which were crispy and flavorful, and the house made beet patty burger

Very cool restaurant and delicious food. At times, service can be sketchy & very unpleasant. Due to the food, I highly recommend!!

I loved this place. The food was excellent and so was the server was too. My nephew has allergies and so we rarely find a place where we find that combination. I wish this place was bigger and had seats with backs instead of stools but other than that, I’ll definitely come back if I ever find myself in Washington DC.

With every bite of these delicious burgers, goodness, I was instantly transported back to summers spent in my backyard, grilling burgers with friends. The thick and juicy patty, perfectly cooked, paired perfectly with the fresh and flavorful toppings and the zesty cheese! Each bite was a delicious reminder of those carefree days, making Bubbie's more than just a place for a meal – it's a taste of nostalgia and great memories. Every time I'm in DC I'll stop by ??

Next time I will also get a shake! I just didn't save any room this time ?

The wait was wayyyyyyy too long. I waited over 30 minutes. I was calm but other customers became impatient. When I finally received my order, the guy just put my food on the counter, didn’t” thank you” sorry for the wait” nothing. Just turned around. I get back to my room & realized they messed up my order. I ordered the beet fig burger with bacon. There was no bacon they gave me an impossible patty. You’ll have to better with customer & getting orders out.
