The Bulldog Tavern re-opened and the service there has improved since the management and staff changed. The food served now is made fairly quickly no, with the longest wait time being 10 minutes or so, however considering the wait time before that was 30 minutes to an hour, this is a welcome change. The tavern also now serves alcohol and other simple mixed drinks! A place worth checking out seeing how there are places to study right outside and who doesn't like a foods break...
Fun outdoor/indoor spot on campus, has a good mix of bar food and easy going drinks. Really shines when you have groups and can hang out on the top level terrace. Provides some nice views over the river and space to relax and talk. Nothing over the top, but perfect for what it is.
Bulldog had been very disappointing under previous owners (especially last year) but things seem to have really turned around now! The sweet potato fries and grilled cheese were great and good value (for DC, at least), and service at the to-go window is quick!
