Start with MUST MUST EAT!!!!! In town doing some sight seeing and came across burrito brothers for breakfast. One got egg sandwich, another a burrito, and I got an omelet. My husband also got chips and queso. Let me start by saying they are nearly the most friendly we have encountered and the food was absolutely delicious. In fact, we will likely be back tomorrow. You must give them a try!!!! Sorry was too hungry and forgot about pics of food today. Will add tomorrow if come back.

UPDATE came back for lunch and this is the best hidden gem. The food is soooo good. I am picky so I got all of my toppings on side and put together but every bit was ate. My husband got tacos.

The prices, even the ones that say “your choice of meat” do not include meat. That’s another $3-$5. Total fraud.

A small, mostly takeout place located near thr Library of Congress buildings, on Pennsylvania Ave. Good quality food, but nothing fancy. The burritos come in several sizes and with every type of ingredient. Reasonable prices: their Little Brother burrito is around $7.00 and is a good size. Busy at lunchtime during the week. Minimal seating along the front window. Good option for a quick meal when you're on the run.

You can fell the love! Family owned and proudly serving the Capitol Hill community for 37 years, Burrito Brothers is one of those local gems that reminds you why small businesses matter. Great food, generous portions, fast service, and a welcoming atmosphere that feels authentic and grounded in the neighborhood. You can tell they’ve built their reputation through consistency and care over decades.

Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or stopping by after exploring the area, this place delivers fresh, flavorful Mexican food that hits the spot every time. Supporting local businesses like this keeps the heart of the community alive. Highly recommend stopping in and showing them some love. 🌯👏

Some of the best Mexican places are just a hole in the wall. Good description of this place. I had the lil bro burrito and my partner head one of the bowls. Everything was delicious. The only downfall was that some of my Mexican rice that was in the burrito was undercooked and crunchy. They have great hours! Open on Sundays. That's a big deal in this neighborhood.
Dine-in options are very limited at just a bar on the wall. Careful stools are a little wonky LOL

This restaurant was AMAZING!! I came in with a group of 10 college students on a time crunch, and they PULLED THROUGH!! The service was fantastic, they got all of our orders perfect! I had the most delicious quesadilla EVER, and it came out in about 7 minutes!!!! It’s so cute and very authentic!! I cannot recommend this enough!! I wasn’t even in the mood for Mexican food before we walked in the door, but after the first bite, I was CRAVING Mexican food!! That was one of the best experiences with restaurants I’ve ever had!! Thank you thank you thank you!!

The customer service was so good! I am not usually much of a wings girl but when I say the wings are so good, I mean it! There is such a good range of wings options and the employees were so kind and cleared up any questions we had and even introduced us to some fun sauces. If anyone is in this area, stop by, you will not regret it!

Parking was terrible. Had to park across the street and walk across 2 segments of traffic. Otherwise I would've had to park illegally. The restaurant is small with a few tables. The staff was pleasant enough. I ordered fish tacos and a carne asada burrito for my goddaughter. She enjoyed her burrito. The fish wasn't good on mine. Maybe just a bad day. I wouldn't recommend.

¡aDios míooooo!
I absolutely loved it here.

Gabby & María were incredibly kind to me and my lady friend, even though she was acting a little rarita. Lol.

Since it was my first time visiting, María took her time explaining all the dishes—con paciencia y corazón. Everything felt so warm and homely, and she even packed my bag with extra care y mucho amor.

Gabby was on the grill haciendo su magia, and the food came out absolutely perfect. My friend and I had lunch together at my place, and the food was still warm by the time I set the table—como si acabara de salir de la cocina.

Honestly, no tengo palabras for how wonderful this whole experience was. Muy recomendado.
