Went on a Saturday at 3 pm. We had 3 waitresses in 2 hours. One told us she was leaving and pointed out her replacement, who never came over. We had to find her. The food was horrible. I ordered the avocado with red peppers panini. I got the thinnest pieces of avocado with tasteless aioli on wheat toast. The cheese tasted like rubber. That was not a panini. It came with a shriveled up tiny pickle that should not even have been put on the plate. My dining companion ordered a burger. Our food was delivered separately, so we didn’t start eating together.
When we were ready to pay, the waitress, she couldn’t get the machine she had to work. She said she would be right back. 10 minutes later we were still waiting and saw her continuing to serve other tables and check them out.
The final straw was that we both ordered to go items which we were not ready when we paid the bill, although we had been there almost two hours. They finally brought my to go item and I left my friend there still waiting. ??♀️??♀️??♀️.
We will not be returning. A failure on every level.

Had the shrimp chicken chorizo pasta and a latte. The pasta was great other than my super overcooked shrimp. My iced caramel latte was super watery and warm, when I asked to replace it with a hot latte it was worse with very minimal milk. Super watery. Waiter did not bring out birthday girls dish until 20 minutes after we all got our food. Hoping to have a better experience next time, if I ever come back

Food was pretty good but portion was super small. Service was ABSOLUTELY POOR. I was pissed that I was about to leave. I ate at the bar.
Bartenders were there but they didn’t acknowledge me for quite some time. I recently had the blackened mahi mahi with family members a few weeks ago and I came back to eat the same dish again. This time my mahi mahi was 1/2 the size of the one that I had the first time. The inferno wings were good but expensive.
The atmosphere is always nice at this establishment. There was a TED talk going on too. I’m not sure that I’ll give this location another shot.

I literally sat at the last seat at the bar (closest to the kitchen) so you would have to see me. Hispanic woman working there with brace on her leg ignored me for 30 mins while my order was sitting on the counter. She didnt even tell the bartender she brought the food out and its ready she just sat it on the counter. Came to every one else and asked there name to give them the food. I waited and waited. The communication is way off and I was in my Metro Uniform. A “its gonna be 10 mins” turned into 30 an me waiting using my whole lunch break.

We love it here. Such good vibes, friendly service, bookstore onsite, amazing art, indoor and outdoor seating, vegetarian and vegan items plus carnivorous faire. But the service or kitchen is always so slow. Just waited 30 minutes for our food and it’s not the first time. One time it took 45. Come for a leisurely brunch or dinner but not a work lunch!
Vegetarian options: There are probably 15 vegetarian or vegan options or more. Most really good.
Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu for dinner and at lunch and brunch have lots of food for picky eaters. The ambiance is pretty lovely, so kids can be themselves. If you’re seated outside there is a fountain that’s a big favorite. Decorative only.

Service is always so so bad. Server always disappears, food orders get mixed up. Food is actually good tho. Maybe they just need a new manager.

I love a good rueben and Bus Boys had it as a new menu item. It was abominable. ccc Just had no vibrancy about it. The corned beef looked dry and lifeless/processed, and here wasn’t much of it. The sauerkraut was minimal and sad and lacking in flavor. All of it was “hiding” between the bread which was not the best. I brought half home, but so don’t want it.
I’ve been to this location several times and love the catfish. It’s been sketchy experiences, honestly, but today was a complete misfire. Wish I had a photo.

I’m just here to brag on the young lady who helped me checkout. Her patience and thoroughness was immaculate. I asked quite a few questions and little did she know today has been a ROUGH day. I’m not from the area but close enough, nonetheless I heard the 1/2 burger night was popular. She helped me order and made sure I had the condiments I needed, as well as checked in when there were about 5 minutes left before it was ready. Quality customer service is hard to come by now a days, so I appreciate her kindness, patience and smile. She helped make my dinner move easy!

We live in the neighborhood so we’ve definitely been here more than a few times. Now after more than 8 times, it’s time to speak some truth. Food: always good, delicious and great portions. Service: so bad you’ll be wondering if the food makes up for it. Just awful. No silverware until 10 minutes after you’ve gotten your food. Forgotten drinks. Forgotten side orders. Waiters approaching your table 3 or 4 times with the wrong entrées. Always casual, overly laidback, like they do not give an F that you’re a customer. Waiters that disappear and never come back (you just flag down anyone you see). It’s sad because the contrast between food and service is STARK. Ordering to go makes a lot of sense.

Great vibes. Recommend the chorizo shrimp pasta - so delish. was a little understaffed so took us awhile to get check, but everything else was super great. Love the vibes.
Warning some food items they don’t serve on weekends
