I visited Busboys and Poets 450K 3 years ago celebrating my birthday in DC and I had an amazing experience. Not sure if Ebonne still works there but she treated me with total kindness. She suggested some of her favorite items on the menu which made it so easy for me to choose what I wanted to eat. I tried the cauliflower bites and the Pom Lemonade. Both were delicious. The ambiance was beautiful. I can’t wait to get back to DC to try some more things on the menu! Would highly recommend this place.

We usually order from Busboys and Poets on 14 Street. We've never had any problems with the food. Unfortunately, at this location, there is always a long wait for take away food (+30 minutes). But today they've outdone themselves by having us wait 50 minutes! We only ordered 2 burgers. This is not normal. A server was kind enough to inquire about our orders and seemed confused as to why it's taking so long. The hostess on the other hand wasn't acknowledging our presence. She did admit it was unusually bad service at minute 51, after our order finally arrived. Unfortunately it didn't come off sincere. Sadly, we will not be coming back here.
