We wandered into Butter Me Up because the wait was too long at Ted's Bulletin around the corner, and we were so glad that we did! The decor is just lovely and most things are served in charming little heart-shaped plates and dishes. The servers are friendly and helpful. The menu has tons of healthy choices that are also delicious, but contains enough unhealthy choices that the family members who wouldn't eat an acai bowl if you paid them a million dollars will still be very happy with their choices. DO NOT MISS the sweet potato tater tots with marshmallow sauce - each one is a little puff of heaven! The orange smoothie (I forget what it's called but it has mango and yogurt) is also fantastic - just sweet enough but not overly sweet. We were quite surprised at how NOT busy this place was despite long waits at nearby restaurants, as it seemed logical to us that anyone who found out it was there would stop waiting for 45 minutes elsewhere and come to this pretty cafe with NO wait like we had. We finally concluded that the only reason this wasn't happening was that not enough people knew about it. Hence this review. Go to Butter Me Up! You won't be sorry!

Pros: food is good and flavorful. Atmosphere is fun and aesthetically pleasing.Cons: everything else! The place reeks of perfume-it’s a nice scent but way too strong. It was empty yet the service was lacking, took the waitress a while to seat us while no one else was in the restaurant. Had to physically go over to ask for the check. I ordered the love on top and it was missing the chipotle sauce and straw for a latte was thrown on the table. The glass table was dirty as well.Definitely not worth it.Parking: 2 hour time limit

The food was decent and reasonably priced, although they were out of several things. But the service was just bizarre. The waitress, those sweet, seemed anxious and confused, and dropped items from our order several times even though we were almost the only ones there. When we first arrived, I had to go wandering around the kitchen shouting to find somebody who could tell us if they were open and seat us, after having milled around for several minutes without finding anybody. I kind of just don't understand how the waitress could seem so overwhelmed in such a low stress environment. As for the atmosphere, they clearly put time into trying to make it nice. If hyperfemme pink frilly things and the three most famous Taylor Swift songs playing on infinite loop are your jam, you will probably enjoy it. Frankly I got gender dysphoria from being in there.

Came to this cute Resturaunt for breakfast and was blown away. I only had the sweet potato waffle and it was such a nice size; looked like a regular waffle and tasted even better. Didn’t need any syrup either. They had plenty of variety on the menu too so there’s something for everyone (Vegan, Vegetarian, Meat Lover). Shout out to Marian for her hospitality and amazing customer service. She’s a 10 and deserves a raise (can I say that? lol). Truly super woman and it was such a pleasure speaking with her. 10/10 experience and would certainly come again. (I should’ve taken pictures)

Came in here on a Wednesday morning, ordered the Cinnamon French Toast and a side of Tater Tots.. Everything had so much taste to it but that Ketchup they use is something SERIOUS.

Vibes of an LA instagram poster and that’s all ya get. Waited 40 minutes for a coffee and an hour for the food. The food was good but certainly not worth an hour wait. There were multiple tables of people waiting 35+ min waiting on food, meanwhile many online door dash orders were going out the door. Focus more on customers in house rather than online and I think the place would be better. Until then, it’s not worth the wait.

This is the perfect little place tucked right in near the Logan circle. The food and cocktails are amazing! The restaurant is embellished in girly decor, so it’s precious for pictures! The customer service was also fantastic. Our server, Sara, was very kind and accommodating too! & food is in large portions! We will be visiting again soon!

I recently dined at Butter Me Up and had an exceptional experience. Casey and Sara provided excellent service, being both timely and kind throughout the meal. The food was outstanding – fresh, hot, and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Aunt Jemima Sammie, which was to die for. Additionally, Sara went above and beyond to accommodate my allergy, ensuring that my food was cooked separately to avoid any cross-contamination with cheese. Overall, I highly recommend Butter Me Up for its impeccable service and delicious menu options.Dietary restrictions: Allergic to cheese
