I work near this place so I go for lunch from time to time. The food is decent but the customer service is horrible. I went today and wanted to get a breakfast sandwich. Even though it was before 12PM (when stated that they stopped making breakfast), they refused to make the sandwich for me. Even if it was after 12, it is not that hard nor time inducing to make a breakfast sandwich. I don't know if they expected that I would buy something else after flat out refusing to make what I wanted but there are way too many competing restaurants in downtown DC to give my money to a place with bad service. I just walked out after that. Apparently, they have new owners and the customer service has gone downhill recently. The new owners have the mindset that they would rather save $1 than to buy goodwill towards having repeat customers. Would not recommend with the amount of other choices in area.

Breakfast, lunch, sandwiches available. Next week sushi will be available. I had chili soup that was great. The coffee is also very nice. The people are amazing and the atmosphere is very relaxed and comforting.

Let me tell you something. This place is the best place I have been to by far. This is my first time in Washington D.C. The Staff here is so amazing. I'm pretty sure I met the owner. He's very welcoming and down to earth. When we talk about cafes this should be the place we talk about. The bread was fresh and awesome, the Korean BBQ was awesome and the BLT was on point. This will be a normal stop for the moments I am here. I highly recommend this amazing cafe.

BEWARE OF FALSE MENU PRICING!!!!I went there for lunch and ordered a BLT. On the menu listed under breakfast to price is $6.99. When I got to the register to pay, the total with tax was $10.44!!!! I asked why it was so much when the price listed is $6.99, the cashier said "Oh, that's the breakfast price." I told her they need to list it again with the lunch price!! So beware of false pricing. I didn't know the cost of a sandwich would increase by $3 between breakfast and lunch.

The staff is pretty nice and sociable but the owners are very unfriendly.The food choices are very slim and they are VERY expensive.

In the first incident, hair was in my food. Lots of it, so I consumed someone's hair. Second, my order was completely wrong, this happened twice. They need an upgrade to the menu.

I’ve been here 3x and didn’t want to leave a review only going there once. My first time I got pizza was during peak lunch time and it came out fairly quick. The pizza was warmed up and seemed fresh! It was good but slightly over priced for the amount you’re getting but it’s DC. 2nd time I came here was for breakfast and I got a bagel with cream cheese. Came out fairly quickly but my only complaint is that they barely give you any cream cheese! Not worth it. 3rd time I got a cheese pizza with tax is 7.42 or so and the pizza was barely warmed up and didn’t taste fresh! I came around 1:45pm!
