Whether it be for a special occasion, holiday (we just had Thanksgiving dinner there), quick weeknight happy hour, or date night - Cafe Berlin always goes above and beyond with their food, beverage selections, and service. Happy to see a family owned (and operated!) business thriving after 40 years in the game on Capitol Hill!
Always an excellent dining experience at Cafe Berlin. Authentic German food, quiet refined local atmosphere, and excellent service. It's our only choice in DC for German food. We come back again and again.
A wonderful dinner on every level!! They moved us inside since the evening was chilly and provided a cozy space where we thoroughly enjoyed getting to know our son's girlfriend! Everything we ordered was perfectly prepared! My trout is always my favorite and always surprises me how tasty it is! Our waitress checked on us the perfect amount of times! Thanks for a memorable evening!!
