Food was delicious. We loved the ambiance of sitting in the dining room. The patio looked nice too. Servers were great, gave the rating I did just because we only had 3 menus for 4 people and I had to wait for the server to come by the table to ask to place drinks. The apple strudel was heavenly and definitely worth ordering early so it finishes in time of the completion of dinner.
This was the second time at the restaurant for my wife and I. We enjoyed the food and beer so much last time that we wanted to make a second visit and it didn't disappoint. I was introduced to German cuisine in the Army and every chance I get I return. This restaurant is a carbon copy of that memory.
My friend and I had lunch. We were planning to sit on the patio but because of the intensely hot weather outside we opted to sit inside at the bar. My friend had a schnitzel sandwich served with onion rings, which he enjoyed very much, and I had the flunder (flounder) sandwich which was also very good.
