Cafe Citron Reviews
The vibe is good. The service was very very slow. They kept forgetting to put things in. Not sure if they were short staffed. Don’t waste your time with the chips and dips. They tasted like store bought guacamole and salsa and cheap dollar store bag chips. But other wise the Citron sampler was amazing! We only one drink because again the service was slow. But overall I would try this place again because of the vibe and music.
this place is not lgbtq friendly
My favorite place to eat, dance & have a great time!!!

Cafe Citron offers a variety of dishes, including yucca fries, pork chicharron, and beef empanadas. Customers have mentioned that the white rice and black beans are good, and the food can be quite enjoyable. The atmosphere is lively, with free salsa dancing lessons in the basement, which adds to the fun experience. The vibe and music are generally positive, making it a good place for drinks and dancing, even if the shots are pricey. The space has multiple levels, each with different music and ambiance, attracting a mix of people. Some reviews note that the service can be slow, and items are sometimes forgotten, but overall, the place remains popular for a night out. The staff, including the friendly bartender Mandy, has been appreciated for their attentiveness. The place can get crowded and rowdy at times, but it is considered a fun spot for friends seeking a lively environment. The mandatory 20% tip policy and the basement smell have been mentioned as drawbacks, but the good vibe and music often outweigh these concerns. The place has a history of hosting dance lessons, which many remember fondly, adding a special touch to the experience.
