This place is a YES! They are consistently delicious. I come for lunch on a regular basis. The lentil soup will make your day! Extra bonus if Mary is serving you.

Booked for dinner on Christmas Day and found that they are not open. The restaurant should not take reservation when they are closed. Very poor service!

I was here for lunch at the bar. I really enjoyed our meal. We had a kabob platter and grilled cheese sandwich. The food here is delicious. The thing that left a distaste is the rushed service. I’d say I was there for an hour and 15, had paid the bill and was finishing up our water but was rudely asked to leave the bar to prepare for next round of service and finish up my conversation by standing at the entrance. There was no line at the door or anyone waiting to be seated. Disappointing experience in service but otherwise the food has never missed.

Came for my daughter’s birthday brunch and everything was amazing! Family friendly and great food, can’t beat it 💕
Kid-friendliness: Three kids and the atmosphere was great, good background music and plenty of kid friendly food options.

They had the BEST French toast! Coated with graham cracker crust, it was AMAZING! Best brunch in DC. It became our Sunday tradition. Unfortunately, they changed the menu 😢😢😢. We hope they bring it back so we can resume our Sunday mornings at Fili!

Great place to unwind and get great food just a block or so from Union Station and worth the walk to save yourself from the corporate food court zoo in there. Beautiful great tasting food! Also very nicely priced. This lamb dish was only 19.00

$18 gyro was so bad it's actually got me on here writing a review about it
Quick and friendly service. Comforting food with great portion sizes compared to price. Meat could be a tad warmer.

The place itself is beautiful—open, cozy space. However, they first brought me a completely cold falafel wrap, then reheated it in the microwave, but it was still cold. They also served tea without hot water, so I was left with just strong tea leaves. To be honest, it was some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced; no one seemed to care or know the menu, and I had to ask multiple times to get what I ordered. I don’t know where they find the staff, and it doesn’t fit the nice interior. But judging by the gallery photos, they could probably make tasty food; maybe I was just unlucky.

I was looking for a quick place to grab decent food on a Friday evening while waiting for someone to arrive at the train station. This cafe intrigued me with the variety of the food menu. The atmosphere was really nice and the menu had a great variety of Mediterranean options. I got the falafel sandwich with the fries. Prices were a little inflated for a cafe but that isn't unusual for DC .
The food was delicious and I will be back again to try out the rest of the menu.

Overall a nice place. The chicken shawarma bowl was so oily that I couldn’t finish it. It was pooling at the bottom of my bowl and i was using the dry pita to get some of it out of the bowl. The wait staff overheard me complaining and tried to tell me that the lamb is just oily (I ordered chicken). The fries were seasoned but also oily. The hummus didn’t have much flavor but the spicy cauliflower was good!

One of colleagues recommended this place and turned out a decent meditarenian food with light and comfortable ambiance. Great for lunch or early dinner. The service was fast and nice. The humus was not as tasty as expected instead muhamara was delicious with tangy touch of pomegranate molasses.
Vegetarian options: For vegetarian options they offer falafel Shawarma/bowl and fatush salad and few other appetizers. Also, they have gazpacho which in hot days it would be a great to try.

Sunday brunch was so good! This was an unintended find. After leaving Church at the Well (which is also an amazing place!), my daughter and granddaughter were looking for a place to grab a bite to eat. Cafe Fili is conveniently located down the street from our church. You have got to go to this place! The food was absolutely delicious! We ate outside on a very pleasant Sunday. We're probably going back every Sunday after church!
