Mr. John, (Manager) friendly and professional, came by to check on us personally during our dinner. Kaitlin was very attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to make suggestions especially the Cherry Blossum Cake. The food and drink were excellent. Staff came around to offer cookies (chocolate chip and oatmeal) as a little perk dessert. I highly suggest Cafe Fiorello.

Located within walking distance to the National Mall and many other D.C. institutions, Cade Fiorello DC is a spacious Italian restaurants. Popping in with a friend for lunch, it's clear it's a popular spot for high powered D.C. people and tourists alike.
We ordered a variety of dishes from the bread loaf to the artichokes to the Caesar salad to the meatballs to the cannoli. Everything tasted good, but the winners were the meatballs, the eggplant parmesan, and the affogato. They also have a great wine and spritz list.
Service is excellent- attentive and on point.

Had a late lunch at Cafe Fiorello. Food was delicious and service was excellent. The two of us split a 3 vegetable antipasto plate and a pizza. The thin crust is perfect. The interior is sophisticated and vintage feel. Overall wonderful experience here.

The best thing about this restaurant is the absolutely stellar service. Every aspect from the welcoming presence and coat check to the team effort in serving their customers is amazing. Not to mention, the food is to die for.
Great service, food was very good. We asked to be reseated from the banquette area because it was very noisy and the tables are quite close to one another. Sitting in the cafe area by the windows was much better.
For a relatively new restaurant, the food was phenomenal. This was our second time there and we tried some different dishes and al were fantastic. I'm glad they are doing so well!
Highly recommend. Five stars honestly isn't enough. The food was incredible, and one of the best meals we have had in a long time... but what really stood out was the service. The GM, John, was so kind and attentive. He went out of his way to make sure our large party was fully taken care of. There isn't a kids menu (which we understood and were totally fine with), but he thoughtfully suggested a few options the kitchen could prepare for the kids, which we really appreciated. The AGM or Maitre D, I didn't catch his name, was also fantastic. He was right there alongside the GM and waitstaff on a very busy Friday night, making sure everything ran smoothly. At one point there was a slight wait between courses, and the staff came around with homemade cookies for guests to sample, which was a thoughtful touch. We truly have nothing but great things to say. My husband and I will absolutely be back the next time we're in town.
I don't usually take the time to write a review, but Cafe Fiorello exceeded my expectations on every count. My wife and I were impressed immediately by the level of service and attention to detail by the staff. They were quick to move us when we made a comment about how noisy the area around our table was. And then we each received a free glass of wine! The service and ambience and menu were all wonderful -- but (since this was our first time here) we wondered: what about the food? Good news in that the food was delicious and arrived promptly. The appetizers, the entrees, the drinks, and the dessert were all excellent. If you've read this far, you won't be surprised to learn: We are fans and we will return.
First time visit. Everything was excellent from the food, ambience, service, and value. Had the Chicken Parmesan which was excellent. Extra touches for Valentine's Day were great. Will definitely return soon!
My favorite DC restaurant. Every dish is an improvement on what you think it would be. The ingredients are top choice. Maria and Johanna are very professional servers and always make us feel welcome. And the managers keeps everything running like a Swiss watch.

Food was yummy (oh, that bread loaf!!) and our server was such a pro and such a sweetheart. And I want to say this: I so appreciate the folks at Cafe Fiorello for paying attention to my request for a booth in as tucked-away a spot as possible. Many restaurants don't read requests in Open Table reservations, but these guys got me the best possible table for my needs. I was able to hear my friends with no struggle for nearly the whole meal and only had trouble toward about 8pm when the restaurant was particularly noisy. Thank you, Cafe Fiorello, for working with my disability and giving me a truly fun evening.
From start to finish dining at Fiorello was an outstanding experience. The service across the board could not have been any better. Every employee we interacted with was warm, friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. We felt as though they were on a mission to make our dining experience perfection and they succeeded.
Our experience was even better than expected. Delicious food and educated, personable staff. I wished we lived closer as this would become a go-to restaurant for us. If you are looking for delicious food and attentive staff in DC, look no further.
From initial greeting to departure, staff were friendly and the food was delicious. Our server, Felice, was exceptional! Thanks for a great night out!
Staff were wonderful from start to finish. We were a big fan of the staff member walking around and offering chocolate chip cookies!
