Lovely warm setting. The soup of the day was this Tuscan bean soup with spinach...a whole nother level! Additionally the sausage with peppers 🌶 was noteworthy. Sage and John really took care of me. Found my new go-to Italian restaurant right downtown.

Went here before a show at fords theater and it was a good location. My friend got eggplant parmesan and said it was good.
Lemoncello cake was okay.
Service was pretty good, but the rigatoni vodka pasta was the worst I have ever had. It tasted like onions for some reason?

Traveling from Boston to DC. Staying in City Center. Concierge recommended Fiorello. What a great suggestion. Manager Sage, server Madison, and the rest of the team do a fabulous job offering a fine dining experience. It was really experiential eating at its best. It was easily one of the five best meals I've had out this year and that's saying something because we have not enjoyed enough home cooking. Which is another way of saying we have eaten out often and Fiorello is easily at the top of the list.

Came here for dinner for our last night in DC and they did not disappoint! Our food was delicious — from appetizers, to entrees, and the obligatory post meal coffee and desert everything was top notch. Jocelyn H. was our server and was very attentive and accommodating to our dietary restrictions. Will definitely return next time we are in DC!

After an afternoon furniture store browsing on 14th Street, NW we decided to pop down to the bar at Cafe Fiorello - not previously having been to the DC location (but many times bar guests at the UWS NYC location). So glad we did. Very chill vibe, a great Saturday happy hour (happy surprise) with excellent wine selections. We ordered a delicious margarita pizza and a few rounds of different wines by the glass. Juan's hospitality at the bar - outstanding service and warm convo helped make for a thoroughly enjoyable late afternoon recovery from the furniture odyssey. Looking forward to returning sometime soon for dinner.

Arrived at 5:30 with a reservation and we were seated promptly. There were some very small black fly type bugs flying around that we had to brush away throughout the meal. The food was OK but one of our meals came much later than the other three. So late that the other three were already finished with their meals. The side order of spaghetti with the late meal never arrived. Would I go there again? Doubtful.

What a great experience! My wife and I went here on a Sunday night, sat in the bar area and had fantastic service from the bartender. We ordered the rigatoni Ala vodka and the roasted chicken and both were fantastic. The vodka sauce was the best we have ever had. The ambiance is great as well. I highly recommend this place for sure.

My work friend and I came here to celebrate both of us finishing our MBAs, and we were both taken back by how good and professional the staff were. So nice. I’d actually say this is the best service I have ever gotten in DC! Would recommend!

My experience here was mixed bag - mostly good! The service and experience at the bar was wonderful as I waited for the rest of my party to arrive. The atmosphere in the restaurant was comfortable, yet felt a bit upscale at the same time. We were greeted promptly and told of the special, which sounded great! So my friend and I ordered the shareable lasagna - kind of like a lasagna pizza. Then there was no contact for quite a long time until our dish arrived. It was an extraordinary amount of time. When it did arrive, it was delicious, but lukewarm. It didn’t take away from the flavor though, because honestly I ate the leftovers cold and they were still delicious! At the time, I felt like the server should have offered some bread, or at least checked in to tell us why our food was taking so long. But overall, I really enjoyed my experience at Cage Fiorello.

The sausage and peppers as an appetizer was great. Great for two people to share. The chicken parmigiana was awesome. It was huge to the point I couldn’t finish it which doesn’t happen often I am ashamed to say.

This is an excellent addition to the DC restaurant offerings. The space has been remodeled beautifully. The food, service, and ambiance are first rate in every respect. The restaurant has a very unique antipasto bar to select with breaded cauliflower, Sicilian caponata, various vegetables, and artichokes. The pasta selections are diverse and well prepared. The Italian wine list is extensive and affordable. The deserts are superb. The managers, John and Gustavo, are extremely welcoming, attentive, knowledgeable, and contribute to an enjoyable evening. Lastly, the noise level is very moderate. A good choice with friends and out of town guests.
