one of my bartending mentors and dc service industry legend Edy Silva works here. and that's reason enough to visit. Edy is the best high volume bartender i know and it is a marvel to watch him work. he is very friendly, knows all his guests by name-and most impressive remembers their drink of choice by heart. it's common to see guests in awe when Edy presents their next round without it needing to be repeated. if you want exceptional service from one of dc's best stop by to see him (mostly weekend evenings at the basement bar)
Great atmosphere to hangout and Great costomer service

Cafe saint ex boom boom room is afrobeats, a little small and extremely hot but still fun, had a good time, but one of the security guys yelled at me, so yea they're a little mean.

Purchased tix for a Riddims event featuring three DJs specializing in soca, reggae, and afrobeats - not sure any of them was present because the music was not as such
Mostly young party goers dressed come as you are and the downstairs area where the dance floor is located was hot and sweaty
Certainly not my type of hype but could be for you if your interests align with my comments
Security at the door is ruder than TSA. I hadn’t even had a drink yet and they treated me like an inmate headed to the mess hall.

The Truffle fries themselves are out of this world. They have new live music at nights and the downstairs opens for dancing!

It was an ok spot. A little weird of a set up but the bartender was super friendly. I honestly think they should have more seating are vs the two big hightops in the middle of the floor
Said there was an open bar on eventbrite and did not honor anything also was incredibly rude and gave the run around for over two hours would not recommend at all terrible place also not enough space to dance in the downstairs sections .
