Call Your Mother Deli – Barracks Row / Capitol Hill D.C.

I love the bagels at this place but consistently have problems with wait times for a bakers dozen. On multiple occasions I have placed an order for pickup (in advance, not even ASAP) and have still waited 25 minutes after my pick up time for the order to be completed. The bagels are delicious, the atmosphere is nice, but be prepared to wait.

On my bucket list to try and it did not disappoint! Truly a great bagel sandwich with plenty cream cheese and cut perfectly well. I got the one with smoked salmon and it was delicious. Didn't take too long and they have a good system going. Cold Brew was a plus and really tasty. One star less for service, cashier wasn't rude but when ordering (i ordered multiple things) I would say an item and she wouldn't say anything to kind of notion for me to say the next thing. Not a look or word, kind of silent and then eventually we got to the total. It was still fine! But made for an awkward encounter lol.

Horrible chewy bread, stale lettuce and salmon, and flavourless spread comprised the very mediocre and still $12 salmon bagel I picked up today.

Nestled beautifully at Barracks Row with great outdoor seating. Delicious coffee, try the black and white mocha with eclair topping. Plenty of classics to try but there are some fun bagel sandwiches on that menu!

Vegetarian options: They have vegan cream cheese, hummus, avocado, veggies, and other vegetarian options!

My 1st breakfast in DC and this spot was awesome! Got greeted with a bright Good Morning as soon as I walked in, staff was super friendly and they had an awesome playlist rolling on their speakers. I got a hot cappuccino and their Bacon Sun City. Coming from Jersey I was really impressed with their bagel! Would deff come again!

I've driven by this place too many times and finally ordered a few bagels today. To simply put it , they were the best bagel sandwiches I've had in the city ... 🤷🏿‍♂️ Just to think they were right around the corner from me this whole time. But in a perfect world, I could easily do those "No-Salmon Royalty Palm" signatures a few times a daily.👌🏿

Could have better customer service.
I honestly didn't see nothing special about the food. Considering the crows and reviews.The Royal Palm-no onions. It tasted of everything bagel and the tomatoes taste like onion. It was the only decent sandwich I saw on the menu. Limited choices, I guess no seasonal menu changes.
Hey ...hit or miss, it definitely missed and also missed something in the food.

It would have been so nice to sit outside but there was a women begging with her music playing commandeering one of the tables. The staff did not ask her to move on.

Very cute spot, I'm from NY and know a good bagel, the bagels are good and delicious here. I had a everything bagel toasted with vegetable cream cheese. With a chai..I came across this while scrolling tick Tok looking for a place for breakfast in DC. They have very limited seating.
