10/10 oh my goodness this place is AMAZING!!!!
The cane and coconut special is so delicious and the have the BEST coconut water in the city. Everything is so fresh and they make it in front of you. The staff are all wonderful and so sweet and help you select drinks and give out samples. They also have a variety of tropical fruits such as fresh jackfruit and cocoa plant. Wow I am in love with this place. Will definitely be back!!!!

First time trying this place, it fit perfectly with my whole food, low glycemic, plant based consumption. The service, the restaurant, and the food were all aligned in harmony! It had a great feel. The live burger…. Chefs kiss. The moss mac was not it tho. Still, I was deeply satisfied with my experience here and will return when in DC.

I genuinely enjoy the wholesome vegetarian experience of buying my food here. Very engaging and knowledgeable staff. More importantly, the food is extravagantly spectacular. I will definitely return.

I was visiting the area and this spot came up on my radar. With such stellar reviews, I had to give it a try. I am very happy to report that the reviews were spot on. Fertari, the owner, was super helpful, attentive and kind throughout our experience there. I ordered the BBQ tacos, miss Mac and cheese, Thai kelp noodles bowl, and a cheesecake. I've had raw vegan food before, but these items really shot up to #1 in my raw vegan experience. Firstly, all the times are soy free, which is such a treat since soy is pretty pervasive in many vegan offerings. The BBQ taco was so refreshing, flavorful, and had an amazing texture. It was immensely satisfying and one of the best vegan tacos I've ever had. I chose the cassava/chickpea shell this time and it added a wonderful crunch without feeling like oily or heavily fried. The Thai noodle bowl was punchy with ginger. It's immensely aromatic, but I think the ginger overpowered it a bit. The moss Mac and cheese was dreamy and creamy! Lastly, the cheesecake was lovely. I was impressed with the smoothness of the slice and it was well spiced. I was thrilled to have experienced this in DC!

GREAT RAW Vegan spot in DC. Ingredients were fresh and live. We tried several dishes, live burger, crab and coconut wrap, tacos, wild rice, seamoss mac and cheese, Kale and Sesame and live fries. Also, ordered pineapple and coconut drink and pineapple tumeric drink . RAW FOOD SEASONED WITH FLAVOR. I Definitely recommend this place.

I'm so insanely impressed with this little restaurant! Normally I shy away from raw vegan because I have a tendency to assume it's going to be bland, but the menu looked so interesting that I had to try it. IT WAS FANTASTIC!!! I got the coconut crab wrap and two side combo. The wrap apparently already came with a side seaweed arugula salad so I tried that along with the live fries and sesame kale! Plus, they had a tiny bit of plaintain left so they gave me a sample of that too! The wrap itself was small but the sides were very generous!!! It practically made two meals! They also gave me a tiny sample of the dandelion herb to try and just for coming in they threw in a mango! I left with so much food!! The only thing I would note about this place is that it's strictly takeout; there is no seating. Also the live fries have a kick, which I liked, but I don't recall seeing it noted anywhere). The coconut crab wrap was mushy. I still enjoyed it but this may not be the best pick for those with texture aversions. Also, just a recommendation, the smear that comes with the sesame kale is really good on the seaweed arugula. Shout-out to Aisha (sorry for any misspelling) for being such an amazing human!! 100% deserves a raise!

I visited Cane and Coconut on Saturday and traveled 2 hrs to get there and it was pretty good. I truly love the BBQ tacos and the sprouted wild rice. The conversations with Maya and Fetari were excellent and they were very knowledgeable about the products that they were serving. I hope in the future the owner would provide a dine in feature for this establishment and it would definitely raise my review score. Thanks for the raw food and convo.

It was my birthday and they got me right, I drove an hour here with my family from Maryland there was one man in there (name starts with an F) who made my whole family’s food. I missed out on the pizza and cake because they were out but I will be back again when I get the chance. Food was pretty good, I think the crab wrap could be better and the live fries were a bit to live for my family 😂 but they loved everything else. I love this establishment and it’s nice to know we got alkaline brothers and sisters out here. One day I hope I see more places like cane and coconut in America.

I really enjoyed my experience with this restaurant/health food store. Everyone inside was so kind and explained the dishes to me & offered samples that were all yummy & delicious. My daughter Love & I chose the raw supreme pizza & raw burger with a side of raw fries & raw mac & cheese! Everything was amazing and tasted on point. We also got the sorrel juice & some seeded grapes. We left so joyful after walking from Union Station! I totally recommend you go have a beautiful experience there as soon as you can! Have a beautiful amazing day people🫶🏾✨
