To be clear, I attended a post-sailing drinking event and did not try the FOOD. The cocktails and beer were delicious and the SERVICE from the bartenders was 100% wonderful, polite, and professional. The atmosphere is fantastic and worth a second visit to try the food.

Disrespectful, unprofessional, and borderline unlawful.
We tried to visit this spot for a night out but were immediately accused of having fake IDs simply because they were from out of state. Without verifying anything, the bouncer took our real, legal IDs and put them in his pocket—with no explanation as to why or what he intended to do with them. He claimed he’d “check with the boss,” but just stood there and never followed up.
Our IDs were valid—and honestly, they’re lucky we didn’t call the police for holding them. Confiscating someone’s government-issued ID with no authority or reason is completely unacceptable.
After checking the reviews, we saw we weren’t the only ones. There’s a clear pattern of this place denying entry to out-of-state guests, regardless of ID validity. It’s discriminatory, shady, and unprofessional. If you’re from out of town, skip this place entirely. Plenty of other spots in the city actually respect their patrons.

I had an amazing time at Cantina Bambina! The food was delicious, with fresh ingredients and bold flavors, and the cozy atmosphere made it feel like a hidden gem. Security was unwelcoming and extremely rude to customers. They were comfortable being very rude to my family during an outing, Even pointed out the manager standing near who had nothing to say about their rude behavior either.
Great views of the water and the Wharf, wonderful staff members who are very helpful, and a great selection of drinks with an assortment of snacks.
If you want to be at the Wharf and out of the crowds this is the place to be.
