Stopped in for a snack between errands. I gently touched the glass display where the baked goods are kept with *a single fingernail* to ask what kind of loaf was on the plate, and the barista abruptly told me not to touch the glass... Very off-putting. Literally did not even touch the glass with my skin or make any kind of smudge... I empathize with service workers, but maybe don’t treat adult customers like children! . Coffee cake was good.

Weird vibes. Slow service. Locked bathrooms?? If you're looking for a coffee and a spot to sit temporarily, sure. But if you're looking for a more cozy vibe and good coffee (and a bathroom that isn't locked) theres so many better options. I only went for the Capital One members free coffee coupon.

Your baristas need an attitude check.
I understand this is Chinatown and the folks along this corridor are up to no good, especially near the X2 Bus Stop. Saying that, I'm aware staff has to deal with less than desireable folks coming in and out of here, but the staff could be more friendly. Esepcially to those who are paying and genuinely there to provide business.
The Capital One Brand is PLASTERED on the Wizards/Caps NBA/NHL Arena up the block from here and the lack of personality and poor quality of service is how your baristas represent the brand?

Shoutout to the baristas here—y’all are amazing… except for the one working today. Her customer service was so bad I started wondering if I accidentally walked into the DMV. If any managers see this, maybe throw in a crash course on ‘basic human interaction.’ Thanks in advance—I’ll still be back for the coffee!

I gave it one star because the guys were nice and helpful. The ladies working at the counter were rude. It was also the worst americano I have ever had. For $9.53 for a triple americano that I had to throw out was ridiculous. I took 3-4 sips and trashed it. I did not go back and ask for a refund or a new drink because they were so rude and clearly unhappy with their job.

A pretty cool Gen generation cafe. . Worth stopping by is have the capital one card to get the 50% discount only handcrafted beverages. Also you use the private lounge for 2hrs. . Service is nice and quiet. Place is clean and security on all the doors.
I had a great experience at the Capital One China Town cafe. I came in with my friends to study and Malik helped us out and made sure we had the space we needed to work.

I spent nine weeks at the Capital One Café this past summer while preparing for the bar exam, and it quickly became my go-to study spot. The staff was consistently amazing throughout my time there, always welcoming and attentive. I interacted most with Chrissy, John, Tyreek, and DeAndre , who were all incredible. Their positive energy and helpfulness made a stressful study period much more manageable. I truly appreciate their consistent service and friendliness. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a great place to work or relax!
