Took 23 minutes to get my hot chocolate. It wasn't even busy. They should really train people in the morning and put people who don't know what they're doing on the register.

I was so grateful for Capital One Café - Anacostia because they provided lunches tonight which helped me because I didn't have lunch today. I'm a Federal Government employee caught up in the shutdown waiting to get paid AFTER GOING TO WORK for the last 43 straight days as an EXCEPTED employee. Thank you to Larry, Mike, Student Ambassadors, and the Capital One Café - Anacostia staff!

Capital One Café – Anacostia

Every time I stop by the Capital One Café in Anacostia, I leave in a better mood—and that’s largely thanks to the amazing barista, Kellz.

Kellz makes the best matcha latte I’ve had anywhere—smooth, perfectly blended, not too sweet, and always consistent. But it’s more than just the drink that keeps me coming back. The customer service is top-tier. Kellz always greets you with a smile, checks in to see how you’re doing, and somehow remembers little details—like where you’re headed next or how your last trip went. It makes you feel seen and appreciated.

On top of that, Kellz has this natural way of making you laugh and brightening your day—whether it’s through a funny story, a clever joke, or just good energy. It’s rare to find that kind of vibe in a café, especially one attached to a bank!

Whether you're stopping by to work, chill, or just grab a latte, this location is worth the visit. Kellz is a true gem. 💚

I came here for studying around 11 am, and staffs welcome me when I entered. I could focus on studying in the good environment. When I order Espresso, one of the staff pay for me. I don't expect to get the same service for the next time, but I spent great time here.

The service here is trash. The atmosphere is giving cute but the staff here is not engaging. The bald head male security is too busy in the face of the young student Kalique and it's so uncomfortable. The best this here is nothing.

Do not trust their ATM. I went there today to withdraw money. Nothing came out of the machine After the transaction was made. The representative could not help only follow dispute With Companyto get your money back. It can take up to 90 days. They told me at the time I was there today that these machines act up all the time please do not use them.

I wish I could say something about the coffee or the food but all I can speak to is the service or lack of, a failure to the point of basic human interaction and the lack of respect for your customers or any person who enters a space and greets you. It requires minimal effort to greet your customers....

I didn't know Capital One had cafes, and if you have a Capital One card, it's half off. The coffee was really good. The one I went to has a landmark from the old neighborhood. I met with Larry, and he gave me the rundown on what they do for the community and for their customers. It's definitely a good spot to work or decompress. They also have a conference room for projects or meetings.

You all provide very personable customer service. Very warm, welcoming, and eager to help. Jonathan, the cafe manager I spoke with while visiting the location, was very informative about the uniqueness of the Capital One cafe locations and the services they provide as well as special local events and promotional offers. As a Capital One banker myself, this was very helpful to know this information and makes me more inclined to frequent the cafe locations. Not to mention, they are very cute, cozy, and quaint environments to study in or get some work done. Even was gifted some cool, free Capital One merch (a bag and water bottle) and a cafe latte on the house. Capital One — hands down, in my opinion — stands out from all of the other banks and chain cafes out there. They really make me feel valued as a consumer and want to empower you for financial success. Thanks for what you all do!
