Not really much point in leaving a review, as we were there on the next to last evening of operation. The restaurant is now closed. The big disappointment is that there were no capital city beers to be had, only a few local brands. Literally four different beers when they usually have dozens available. Understandable, considering they were closing. And excusable since we ordered all of the beers, and they were very good.

food was better than i expected. cobb salad was AMAZING. service was a little slow & table a little cramped but overall enjoyable.

Great location for office luncheon celebrating teammates birthday. Service was very efficient and relatively affordable.

We did arrive an hour before they closed and as we Walked in, we were immediately greeted! My party and I were sat down and was brought water right after! After receiving the water I felt we waited about 10-15 minutes to get our drink/food order taken! First was confused how a brewery only had 2 of their original beers. The beer prices were on the expensive side. We received our food! Mine was alright the chipotle burrito was good but the fries were less than mediocre. Ordered a tequila quesadilla and the guacamole was brown and not good at all. The quesadilla itself was delicious. Waited a little bit for our check and was okay with the price and experience but expected it to be better quality for price!

Haven't been here since preCOVID and was so saddened how much this place has gone down. Quality of food was terrible. Fish & Chips: the outside batter of the fish was soft instead of crispy and the fish itself was a bit dry. Others ordered the jambalaya and the chicken was overcooked. Fries were also a bit dry. The calamari was extra chewy. The chips in the nachos were stale. I think maybe if we just ordered bar food it'd be different because the wings and someone else's burger were good. But also. The place felt a bit rundown and perhaps unsanitary. I'm so sad because I remember when this place was packed for lunches and happy hour and was full of energy. It was nearly vacant whereby it turns out I didn't have to make a reservation because they just put together tables on the spot. Sadly do not recommend.

I had the signature burger, it was delicious! The kolsch was great too, I didn't try the amber.

When we travel we never go to the same restaurant more than once, we always want to try different restaurants. This was so good we are here twice.

this one time great restaurant has gone terribly downhill. The food was not good. The table was not clean. the service was nothing but mediocre, at best.

Not impressed. It was almost empty before a Caps game so that should tell you something. Food was ok, nothing to write home about. Coleslaw was good. They messed up both or orders . Service was terrible. Servee was sitting at a table with other servers hanging out. Has to go look for her to get service. Will not return. Do not recommend.

Our family regularly goes to Capitol City before Capitals game. The food and the beer are always outstanding!

Cap City is always a good experience. It's our go-to place before Capital games, and last night was no different.

Opentable Diner

Staff was friendly, our waitress was fantastic, food came out quickly. It was loud, but it is a bar and grill.

The food was quite delicious and we were given generous portions. One had fried cod with chips and the other had grilled chicken.
