I went to CARLS about a month ago , I can’t stop thinking about how GOOD THE FOOD WAS, Both subs were fresh and just amazing , you get a lot of food for a great price !

Just left carl's getting three subs. I asked for one of them to be no onion because i am allergic. The young lady with her head tied in the african garb fixed the sandwich wrong and when i asked that it be remade she said, there are onions in everything so either way you are going to get sick. I did not find it funny but she laughed. Her behavior was very unprofessional and i hope these aren't the type of rude people you have running your store when you are not there. Today is 1/23/26. It is 1:30 pm and i just left your store

The subs are second to none. Fresh ingredients, overstuffed with delicious meats, fresh soft rolls and the price will make you smile !! i have been in the neighborhood for over 11 years and my first time ordering but definitely not my last. I’m telling all of my friends about Carl’s Subs on Rhode Island Ave NE DC Everyone walked away singing praises about the subs!!

Customer service was well. Sandwich not so much. The taste was there but, Meat and bread were entirely too thick. Not sure who made my sandwich today because when I came a couple weeks ago it tasted 10 times better. If you prefer your meat thinly sliced I wouldn’t recommend this sub shop.

No exaggeration!! I have been going to Carls for years!! Not just 5 or 10yrs. They are always consistent. The sandwiches are good, fresh and price friendly. No credit cards needed, just old fashion money!! Dollar Bills!! 🤑 Carl is such a nice person, You will find him working alongside with his employees and he rewards them for their services sometimes with a company trip...May God's work continue in this place!!
