We had an amazing dinner here. Greg was fantastic and seated us at the bar and made sure our dining experience was over the top. The portions are generous, the drinks are delicious and the food was authentic. It is the best Italian we have had in DC. We will be back!!!!!

Food flat out sucks was my 1st time there and maybe my last! I will try it maybe one more time but it suckers as well manger. Heck I wasn’t even offered a dam desert and that was after waiting for them to cook it again. At least the bar tender gave a soda and that was flat lol. He was the best thing on my visit!

I had a taste for carbonara, so I invited my friends to Sfoglina Downtown! We had a WONDERFUL time. We split a bottle of Zinfandel, which was great. We loved our appetizer (we added the crushed tomatoes and prosciutto). I got my carbonara! My friend couldn't decide between two entrées, so the waiter (Oscar) asked if he could surprise her and brought a little of each entrée out in two separate bowls! So thoughtful. All of our desserts were delicious. My friend's gluten allergy was totally accommodated. Best gluten free pasta that she has ever had! We will definitely be going back!

Service was superb. Quickest service I've ever had. Nice and good food. Did lack the possibility of having some sort of potato as a side to my steak. That option was not possible when I was there. The pasta however looked amazing. Recommend a visit.

This is the best tiramisu I have ever had. I love the way it is served in a chilled double dish. It has a decent amount of espresso which I think you usually don’t get if it can also be served to go. The pasta was pretty good, the salad was great, I think this location needs a little sprucing up I think its been there a while but all in all very good.

Incredibly great food! Excellent service and good came out quickly! Never felt rushed and the place also seemed very kid friendly as well. Loved how they valet checked out to go food so it isn’t in our way. Will be coming back again and recommending to our friends looking for a great date night.

I chose Sfolina for my anniversary birthday after doing a lot of research, as my first-choice restaurant was unavailable due to a buyout. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing, despite the food itself being good.
Despite making a reservation and calling ahead to note the special occasion, this was not acknowledged by our server, which made the evening feel awkward rather than celebratory. Additionally, the manager had mentioned on the phone that a special seating area would be set aside for us, but upon arrival we were seated at two tables pushed together instead of the round table that had been promised.
We also brought a special bottle of wine to mark the occasion. The corkage was presented abruptly as a $75 fee, with no explanation. Given that their wine list ranges from roughly $50 to $115, the fee felt excessive and unwelcoming.
Overall, while the food was good, the service and attention to detail did not match expectations for a restaurant positioned for special occasions.
My new favorite italian restaurant in DC. Best Caesar salad I've ever had and the pasta was amazing. Excellent cacio y pepe and mushroom gnocchi.

First time caller! Stopped in to place a carry-out order and ended up grabbing a seat at the bar during happy hour. The vibe surprised me—instead of the usual Italian ambiance, there was a full doo-wop playlist rolling in the background. Unexpected combo, but honestly… who doesn’t love a curveball?
Happy hour prices were generous, so I ordered an Old Fashioned and the deviled eggs. The eggs were solid with a clean presentation. The Old Fashioned was good too, though I would’ve preferred a single solid ice cube—maybe that’s just not part of the happy hour pour 🤷🏾♂️.
Staff was friendly and attentive, and my food was ready in about 25–30 minutes. I ordered the pork belly and the shrimp scampi. Didn’t realize until I got home that neither dish came with bread, which threw me off a bit. That said, the shrimp scampi was amazing. The pork belly didn’t wow me, but to be fair, that’s probably on me for ordering outside their Italian wheelhouse.
Overall, solid first visit. I’d definitely come back to dine in and get the full experience.

Food was very delicious and service was great. We did luck out by going around around 4 which meant there was not a gracious amount of people in the establishment. It was my father's birthday and they were kind enough to offer him a free desert. Everyone enjoyed the taste of the food, only complaint was it was a touch small for the amount you pay. Other then that it was a fine italian establishment.
