I chewed a small rock within the clamshell of the Vongole, after sensing a few small sands in the same dish. While a replacement Pappardelle was offered, I was asked to pay for Pappardelle.
No sincere apology was provided, though they did not charge the Vongole. Unfortunately, my toothache prevented me from fully enjoying the complimentary ice cream.
Overall, the dining experience was quite disappointing.

Vegetarian options: I had an incredible vegetarian choice off the specials, it was amazing. Hubby had hanger steak and gave it a 10....dessert a 10. Literally nothing negative to say!!

My bf chose this restaurant for my birthday because I was craving Italian and we are in town for the week and it was the best pick. We started off with the spritz flight it was delicious and the rosemary bread. Our waiter Oscar was great with recommending and even made a specialty cocktail to try too! We had the pasta sampler and had the ragú parpadelle, the braised short rib aglonotti, and had trouble picking a third our server Oscar recommended the squid ink and it was INCREDIBLE. It was a phenomenal salty and savory pasta with a creamy component and the most tender flavorful shrimp. My bf is very picky and he loved it I had to fight him off so I could take some To-go haha! I had a great birthday with a complimentary gelato and the cannoli cake was so good as well. Only thing I’d say is I wish there were more spots to sit together as a couple for us soppy ones who like sitting near eachother instead of small single tables but still worth it! Thank you to the restaurant and our server for great recs and service.
The place is beautiful and food is great but there is nothing worse than the manager choosing (HIMSELF) to pour you more wine and charging you for it. We were interrupted 4 separate times by the manager. He kept going on tangents with us, being kind, and then decided to pour us another glass of wine. The way he did it seemed like it was “on the house” being kind. No- We were charged for those glasses we did NOT ask for. As a server I would NEVER do this to a table. We did not ask for another glass.

As soon as we entered we were treated as if we were the only couple in the restaurant even though it was busy. Food was amazing and the pistachio cake was as good as it looked.

We wanted to eat fresh pasta and Sfoglina did not disappoint us! I'm Italian and finding places like this makes me very happy!! The ravioli with truffle sauce and the Nerano pasta are highly recommended! I would never have guessed the Sicilian cannoli cake but it was really excellent! Special thanks to Oscar for being a great waiter and even offering us two glasses of wine!

The food is so good! I have had most of the vegetarian and pescatarian dishes and loved them all. The service left a bit to be desired one of the times I was there, but is mostly good. The ambiance could be improved by a different cleaner (whatever product they use has an unpleasant odor). I would definitely go back and have recommended it to other people.
