Cava is usually my go to, since its reliable and decent price. This is my first time in this location, usually go to the one in Columbia Heights. I got my usual order and realized after a few bites that something in there was rock hard, and after some inspection, I found it was the black lentils. Now I realize you can make a mistake and undercook them, what was a bit upsetting is that when I took it to them, they did nothing, they just told one employee they messed up and just went about their business, didn't offer another bowl, no refund, didn't even bother to take the lentils away and put them aside. Left hungry, with bad, earthy, raw lentil taste in my mouth and possibly sick since you can't digest raw lentils.

I love this CAVA so much, I come here for Too Good to Go and the service is always fantastic! The food is great and the people are lovely, I'll definitely be back here whenever I want a bowl :)

For the second Sunday in 3 weeks I found this store to be significantly out of several items. During my last visit on the evening of 4/17/24, they were out of the supergreens mix and several dips and almost out of mains. When I asked for a reasonable substitute of regular lettuce and arugula with a greens and grains mix, they attempted to charge me over $1 extra for the "extra scoop of greens". They proceeded to argue with me (staff and on-site manager) and refused to remove the charge making absolutely no attempt to substitute for their lack of ingredients electing instead to throw out the bowl of lettuce instead of providing reasonable customer service. Every decent restaurant normally tries to provide reasonable substitutes, or decreases the price they charge. I will never go back to this store after having two times with major ingredients missing and this clear lack of customer service.

My partner and I stopped in for a quick bite before a nearby show and decided to split a bowl. The woman behind the counter went above and beyond to split the bowl for us: an unexpected but welcome level of service.

Our meal was very good and good quantity also!Kids menu is available which does come with a small drink.Restaurant is very spacious. Not allot of staff but they seem to work well together to reduce wait time. The eating area could have been cleaner and restrooms which needed a code to enter needed cleaning also.This was our first visit to CAVA & food was good enough to come back again.Vegetarian options: Look up menu ahead of visit this would give you a gage of options. But you can customize which is great.Parking: There is metered street parking.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu!

They helped me fix an order that, I sadly received half eaten, on DoorDash! Not even DoorDash was willing to help me, but they did! I'm so glad that they did as well because my order was expensive! Nicest manager lady ever!

The worker boy work on 1/20/2024 11:30 am was disproportionately rude to me. He didn’t greet me when I got the register he just shouted 12.38 is your total. Then he handed me the bag as if I was contagious and wanted to touch him or something and when I asked for napkins and he didn’t even tell me where they were he pointed aggressively across the store like I just asked for napkins and I was left to figure where they were on my own since he clearly didn’t wont to tell me where they were. I love the food at CAVA and I hate to complain but the service I experienced At that location made me never want to go back

I admit that food is delicious but it seems like over time (just a few months) the amount of food has decreased while the prices remain the same.In addition, the staff’s attitude and service skills have decreased matching the amount of food served. These likely explained why today, a Saturday noon, there was not a single client at this location.I am very likely not going back.

I was here during Howard’s homecoming weekend, over lunch time, and it was insanely busy, BUT the staff was great and working hard to meet everyone’s needs. One team member in particular, Brenda, was AMAZING! Despite working crazy fast, she has a huge, beautiful smile on her face, is chatting with customers, and bolstering the staff’s morale. She made such a huge difference to the experience of the place, and was absolute gold. Thanks Brenda!!!

I come in every weekend and my experience is always top tier. Between management and the workers *chefs kiss*always working to make the customers welcome and want to return. Great food as well. Sweet and spicy chicken wrap is my favorite and an excellent go to!!!
