Just ordered a bowl for my lunch break , I was craving Cava my favorite food spot ! ...Mouth has been watering for hours and now that it has arrived I can't eat it because they put Raw pink meat in my bowl..thanks Alot ..now I'll be in urgent care

Hands down the worst Cava I’ve ever been to. 35 minute wait after ordering and they still managed to get my meal completely wrong. Icing on the cake was the huge group of us trying to use the bathroom but none of the employees would bother acknowledging us while we tried to get the code.

Cava is my go to pretty much wherever I go, consistent (more or less) everywhere I go and if issues arise their customer support is terrific. DuPont location is no different and is in a convenient location but tends to get really busy during the lunch hours.

CAVA at Dupont Circle exemplifies how quickly a fast-casual favorite can lose its footing. We ordered two build-your-own bowls, which arrived sloppily assembled and deeply disappointing. The rice was undercooked and hard, setting a poor foundation. Ingredients tasted tired, as though they’d been sitting too long, with proteins that skewed toward chewy, fatty cuts riddled with tendons.
The dining room only compounded the problem. Tables were sticky and unclean, and staff appeared disengaged despite being plentiful. During our visit, two people openly helped themselves to soda and juice while employees looked on, unmoved. The moment left the space feeling chaotic and poorly managed rather than relaxed.
What was once a reliably fresh, customizable experience now feels careless and uninviting. Attention to detail—both culinary and operational—was sorely lacking. This location reflects a broader slump for the chain, one that makes returning difficult to justify. #FastCasualFail #DupontEats #DCDining
