I regularly go here for lunch when I come into the office. It can get very busy around lunchtime but the staff is very efficient and keep wait times as short as possible. They always get my custom order right and the ingredients are always fresh and delicious. Even during the lunch rush, you can usually find a place to sit on the 2nd floor. Great vegetarian and health-conscious options.

Recently revisited this location due to the convenience. I also wanted to let my friend see how the food was including their drink options etc… I’ve been a loyal Cava-Ite since around 2014-2015. Never have I felt less welcomed than when I visit this location.I mean there’s not one Mediterranean, Asian, or Black person there (all Hispanic) so no diverse staff plus they didn’t smile nor greet me. That was my main red flag the following were:*Lack of joy*Lack of appreciation*Lack of humility*Had a Security Guard*No one came to check on usPlus I was being bothered about my Starbucks drink. Even though I still bought food, tipped, and I was there with a first time guest for over an hour. Of course I’m gonna be thirsty. I’m a huge foodie and native DC leader at minimum. That cut his teeth in the restaurant industry. My standard is Platinum and my commitment to patronizing business who show they care is unparalleled. This location here doesn’t meet that criteria or my standards. There are other locations that do and I will be letting people know to go there.

Cava is pretty well-known at this point, but I’ll leave a review about this particular location. It’s a nice space, clean and inviting, especially upstairs. There you’ll find a sunny room with lots of seating and windows. Again, pretty clean. The food is just OK. It hits the spot for a salad bowl, but there’s just some thing about it that I feel like might be lacking. It just doesn’t have a whole lot of depth. And is it me, or are the scoops they’re using smaller now? Anyway, not a bad place for lunch, decently, priced, quick and hearty.Vegetarian options: It’s salad, people. ?Kid-friendliness: If your kid likes salad, they will like cava.
