Love the food and the ambience.

Very nice restaurant. We went with two vegans and they had plenty of menu choices. All was delicious. Scallops by the non-vegans were delicious. Entrees of rack of lamb was a bit small on the portion. The stuffed quail was nicely done. Dessert of a chocolate concoction was very good also, but a bit tiny.

The location of this restaurant was a little weird I think they are doing some renovations so it was hard to tell of they were open. It's also downstairs. The decor was very nice and it was intimate. We opted to eat brunch at the bar so we can get some customized cocktails and the bartender Keith did not disappoint. He was AMAZING not just for the great drinks but he had great customer service and really made the experience for me. I opted for the vegan BLT but my friend was still hungry after our meals (because he's been fasting haha) so keith recommended the vegetarian spring rolls and risotto balls and they were very tasty! The fries really stood out to me because, well, fries are my favorite food and theirs were soooooooo good.

While in D.C my sister and I had walked for 10 miles exploring the city. We needed food and needed it fast. My restaurant choices were limited due to the fact that she's pescatarian. This restaurant not only had a great menu for meat eaters like me, but they also had a separate vegetarian/vegan menu! They offered separate appetizers, main courses, and even desserts! Now, the restaurant is on the pricey side, but the food was delicious and well worth it. The dress code seemed to be business casual to semi formal. The really interesting part about this restaurant is that it's located down in the basement. It makes it feel more private and it was a nice quiet spot to enjoy your food. We did notice that up on the street level they were currently Renovating a bar style restaurant to accompany their basement restaurant! We are planning on returning late this year, so we are excited to see how it turned out.

Came for brunch on Sunday January 19. Food was OK, not great. Service was truly abysmal. Some of the worst I have ever experienced. It took an hour to get food and the restaurant was not even a quarter full. The waiter kept forgetting what we ordered for drinks and, unless we reminded him, they never came. I have been to this restaurant many times previously and this was my first really bad experience.

Incredible food and service. Our waiter Keith was very helpful and pleasant. Restaurant itself is cozy and beautiful.

Dinner for 2 before a show at Ford Theatre. We r not vegan, which this caters to but has meat dishes. Food was ok, beets good, scallops under cooked, salmon entree over cooked, chix very good. Deserts small, coconut cheese cake and espresso creme brûlée were lame. Wine list very small/poor and they were out of one of only two Pinot Noirs offered. “Merlot” was actually a 56% cab sav, with 11% Merlot grape. Service was basic but Bill with tip was $250. I won’t be back.

Amazing service. The food was great! We had the rib eye steak, medium, and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place.

Came here for brunch with a friend on a Sunday and we were the only ones there. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive but that's the only positive thing about the meal. I got the Crab Cake Benedict and they were like tiny frozen, processed crab cakes. They clearly were not freshly made and you could barely even tell there was crab inside. I asked for the hollandaise sauce on the side which was was cold and abnormally thick. It tasted more like mayonnaise than anything else. The side salad wasn't fresh and seemed pre-made/soggy. Overall, other than the friendly customer service from our waiter and enjoying my friend's company, the whole experience was poor. It was an overpriced and terrible meal. I'm not surprised that there was no one else there for brunch, I definitely won't be back.

Lots of vegan options. Skip the vegan pasta though- it's uneventful but everything else was good

Despite an unpromising start -- down a very long flight of stairs, to a completely empty dining room, where we were seated in lonely splendor at the opposite end from a small, lively bar, with only the bartender to wait on us -- we had a LOVELY meal. The food we ate was excellent! The pre-theater prix fixe included a fine salad, a delicious bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin (among three choices) and a nifty coffee crème brulée. The à la carte appetizer menu included a delicious brie en croute and a fine smoked salmon on a bed of fresh, crisp greens. Half the menu is vegan, so there is something for everyone. The service, while a little sketchy owing to a staff absence, was very friendly. The restaurant will be opening a street-level room in the near future. That will make our planned return trip even easier.

Nothing special to be honest. I guess pictures were taken quite well but I did not find this place particularly delightful as I was expecting. The interior of the restaurant was quite nice though. I suppose that's a selling point.
